Amazing onigiri store with delicious and juicy karaage . The flavour profile and rice is the closest I’ve tasted to the one in Japan .

The karaage although a bit pricy at $3/piece was super delicious and juicy .

Would definitely recommend and come again if you’re in the area.

What a find! I saw it when I went to another place in the same food court. It looked nice with a good range of dishes and I made a mental note to try it one day. Today was the day and I'm glad I did. It's upstairs in Orchid Plaza; don't spend time looking for it on the Ground Floor, head straight up the escalators.

I had the karaage & rice. The chicken was moist with a satisfying, crispy crust but also with some nice sauce. The price was very reasonable. As I have to be in the city for most of the coming week I can see myself trying other dishes there.

If only I had more time in Cairns, I would have visited this place more! I ordered 4 onigiris to eat on the plane. The rice was cooked perfectly, soft yet chewy and the onigiris were flavourful with adequate filling. I had the mentai pickled cabbage, bonito flake, teriyaki salmon and spicy chicken, all tasted oiishi. I didn't know what some of the items were and the girl at the counter tried her best to explain. Prices were very reasonable. I ate it about 4 hours after it was prepared and it still tasted really good.

The food was really good, Fresh and tasty. I had marinated salmon rice bowl and karaage chicken. Definitely going back again soon.

I had their karaage curry bowl today for lunch, it was so good! The curry was in perfect thickness and the karaage was still so juicy. I can say it was authentic, very similar to the ones I had in Japan.

Great little gem for authentic Japanese food. Very friendly service and food comes out quickly. Offers takeaway and food court style seating for dining in. Many popular rice bowl menu items made ready for takeaway in cabinet, great if you’re grabbing lunch on the go. Onigiri are made fresh to order. All the onigiri flavours are interesting and well balanced, can’t go wrong no matter which one you pick. The mini set is good for a light lunch, comes with choice of two onigiri and one piece of juicy well seasoned karaage. Highly recommend the pork miso udon, al dente udon noodles in light dashi stock topped with a lot of miso marinated pork mince, spring onion and red pickled ginger.

I wish I knew about this place before the final day of my FNQ trip. Absolutely delicious Japanese food! I had the tempura veggie bowl, it was cooked fresh and piping hot and the portion was big. Highly recommended and can’t wait to visit again!

I had takeaway salmon avo bowl, curry bowl and some onigiri. Everything is very tasty!
Curry tastes authentic and you could tell it is made from scratch.
Salmon is fresh and rice is very yum!

I always add some teriyaki sauce to my karaage rice bowl. delicious and amazing every time! ❤

Great taste and value! Tried karaage bowls, onigiri, and milk tea. All were good and very filling. Only thing is would have liked another sweet or sour element in the karaage rice bowl to balance against the saltiness. Onigiri have more filling than just the bit at the top in the pics so don't let the pic stop you from trying one.

Best place in cairns to get a bubble tea. Bento boxes are around $10 and are delicious, perfect for lunch. Karage chicken is amazing and around $1.50 per piece. Service is great, there is seating but me and my friends usually take our food to the esplanade (5 min walk) and eat it next to the sea. Our fave place to visit in Cairns.

The staff are always friendly and welcoming. Their prices are very reasonable. Their chicken egg don is my most favourite meal in the whole entire world. A great little place to eat.

My favourite lunchtime treat, their salmon bowls are incredible
