Golden Bamboo Chinese Restaurant

The deep fried duck in plum sauce was delicious. Beautifully crispy batter and juicy meat. I single-handedly ate the entire serve, which was half a duck, and could have probably fed two to three people. It’s the next day and I’m still thinking about this dish. The fried rice was also very tasty, and the staff were friendly.

Had dinner here and was second time visiting and once again it was amazing! Great service and very tasty food. Good portion sizes for what your paying and the quality 5/5!! Restaurant atmosphere was good and would recommend for families or couples or even just singles. Will definitely be back again!!! Thank you!

Amazing food. We ended up getting the satay chicken, special fried rice, and their signature golden bamboo chicken, and it did not disappoint. The server was very knowledgeable on the menu and very friendly as well. We will 100% be back.

Went here with my partner for a dinner date and to celebrate Mother's day. It's actually good place to dine in and enjoy the food. They do take away too. Abit of wait when you order alot but it's worth it! A lot of options too! If you love chinese food, visit this place. We tried the prawn toast, wonton noodle soup, fried rice, beef omelette, beef with black bean sauce and combination chow mein. Everything is delicious but I definitely loved their Wonton noodle soup. P.s. Plate is meant for sharing. I found out about this place last month and they've been here for quite some time now. I suggest booking in advance during special events as they get pretty busy. The tables were all reserved when we went there for Mother's day. Btw, Plenty of parking at the back.

This place is a little gem. I have been a few times and it has never disappointed. My favourite Chinese restaurant.

Had a Chinese New Year dinner here for a large group. Food was good and plenty of it. More than we could eat and some people even took some home in takeaway containers.

Amazing little Chinese place. Our go to place is Clayfield Court Chinese but unfortunately they retired. We we’re on the hunt for a new place and Golden Bamboo doesn’t disappoint. Beautiful food and it’s all super fresh made to order. Keep that in mind if you want something super fast, order ahead or be patient for dine in.

First things first, this is a biased review. This has been the place my extended family us gathered for many years. Long dinner, kids sleeping under the table, surprise parties, the restaurant were all the cousins learn to use chopsticks and lots and lots of food.

I love the food, the service is great and they put up with loud, big groups of people (if you are nice people). If you are looking for a new regular Chinese food place, try it out!

We absolutely ,love this place. Been eating here since 2001 and continue to return. It is great dining in or takeaway. It might look a little plain at first glance but the food more than makes up for it. Say hello to the owner, Jennifer. She will look after you.

Really generous helpings, fresh veg with the perfect crunch. The Dry Fried Lamb and Pepper Beef were amazing, and we have enough for tomorrow too :) Reasonably priced to dine in, much cheaper to take away but mostly the same food on both menus. Could possibly do with some music in the background to drown out everyones conversations when its not so busy.

Best takeout in the area. Worth the price, food prepared fresh. We dine in on special occasions the decor is pretty dated but everything is clean and the service is always great. Highly recommend the chilli salt n pepper squid

This place is always delicious sometimes on the weekend it gets busy you might have to wait an hour or a 1/2 , There special fried rice, spring rolls I Absolutely love I would highy recommend this place 5 star for me

Our visit tonight to Golden Bamboo Chinese Restaurant could not have been any more enjoyable. Everything we ordered tasted so fresh and delicious. Food came out quite quickly, and customer service was exceptional. Will definitely be returning.
