I think it’s a good restaurant, without having to wait because there are a lot of seats. Also, the portion for each dishes are big, don’t have to worry not eating enough. The staffs are very friendly. The bread is toasted well, it’s just a tiny bit salty, but still tastes good. It’s free so you can eat as many as you want! Seafood spaghetti is nice because it has a lot of seafood in there, not like some pastas not including a lot of fillings. However, the taste is not so strong, hope it can be a bit stronger. Otherwise, it’s a good dish! Salad is average. I like the fisherman’s basket the most, perfectly fried, and fresh seafood! The sauce included also tastes very good. The chips are a bit dry, but still tastes fine. Overall, good experience and I’ll visit this restaurant again. I haven’t had chance to try their steak and other seafood selections on their menu.

This place has been around for yeeeeears. Like over 30+years and is still great.
You certainly do not walk out of here hungry in any sense as the plate sizes are BIG.
And the quality is pretty good. Let's put it this way, name mother restaurant that survived on the Gold Coast for over 30 years. Not many. It has plenty of tables, as we found out on recent Fathers Day, when most were fill, these guys still had a table or two to.fit the 3 of.us in. You'll see by the photos attached, they are pretty good meals, with FREE GARLIC BREAD!!!
Struggle to.find a place anywhere else on the GC that matches here for a great meal. 👍

On the 25/12/20021 my family and I entered this restaurant to have Christmas lunch together, we left at 2:30pm with the fullest of bellies and our hearts filled with joy from the experience. What a wonderful place to spend our time with our loved ones. The food absolutely amazing and plenty of it, the staff treat you like you're part of their family from the time you walk into their home (restaurant) and the friendly patrons all with BIG smiles on their faces says it all. Free garlic bread which is very generous . Big portions and fresh seafood ,salads here. Surprisedly, beef rib was very tasty too :p

It has been 12 yrs since our last visit (we moved away) and it was just how we remembered it. Great friendly service, large but good quality portions. They will give you takeaway boxes if needed. It was like visiting family.

Good old style steak restaurant. Came back here after 20 years and still the same good quality. Remember, their each meal is huge. I found 80’s Packman game near bathroom and it’s still working. That is really rare today.

Had the grilled Morton bay bugs. So good I love going to the restaurant but be aware 9 times out of 10 be prepared to take a doggie bag. The meals for one person can be big.

Love this place! Hasn't changed in 30 years - still great for BBQ Prawns and Bugs- challenge you to eat the hot seafood platter on your own - amazing. Tonight was a steak - a Tomahawk Steak nearly one kilo for under $70! Ended off with cheesecake and a great coffee! Have to go more often.

Wow..... Great service! Great food! Well priced. I went with a friend who had been many times and highly recommended it, now I know why.......
I ordered Chicken al Greco and it was superb. My friend had the scallops and she Loved them.

Big meals at a good price. The quality of food is very good and the service is usually friendly and efficient.
I saw someone else's review saying meals were to large, never have I heard of someone complaining about over sized meals, small ones I would understand but in my opinion everyone should be pleased to receive a meal bigger than expected. When you come to this restaurant come hungry because you wont be when you leave.

My wife & I came here 7 years ago for the first night of our Honeymoon, & nothing has changed since then.
Same owner for the last 35 years. I hope it never changes, as we plan on coming back again & again!!!

I can't believe this is now closed. An end of an era. We were there on it's last day and it was amazing.
