Best almond croissant in Cairns….. Maybe ever🤔 Tried them first from the stand they have at Rustys(don’t go too late or they’ll be sold out guys) and have wanted to go to the bakery ever since. Today we finally got there.Later than we’d hope so the selection was not the full selection but still much more than on offer at their Rusty’s location. We had the trusty almond croissant, a chocolate entremet, blackberry cruffin & the star of the show was the lemon meringue tart. Absolutely delicious. Can’t wait to get back and try some more goodies. They are decent sized nice outdoor seating area sheltered from the sun, and service a selection of coffees(white whale - roasted in Cairns) and teas, juices etc.

If you’ve got a car, I promise it’s worth the drive out🤤

Visiting the area for a few days and stumbled upon Baked. Really amazing little bakery with delicious croissants, fabulous coffee and bread I wish I had tried!

Service is top notch and there's always a crowd and someone standing chatting with the barista. Super friendly and a great little find.

Fantastic suburban bakery in Woree. Large range of sourdough bread and lots of savoury and sweet goodies. Pies, croissants, cakes and sandwiches. Also a full range of coffee options. We love the bread, well worth the drive.

Beef pie had nice flaky pastry and big chunks of tender cow. Coffee tasted like coffee. Staff were friendly. Bosh.

Every kind of delicious pastry goodness and sourdoughs you could think of, and then some. They even do reuben sandwiches with their own little Red Hill twist, and only the original from Katz Deli in NY beats it. To top it off, they serve White Whale coffee, an outstanding medium roast.
But don't get the Farmhouse Sourdough. Nothing wrong with it, it's to die for if I'm honest, but I want them all for myself.

As a pastry chef who has been baking in the industry for 20 years now, the mushroom pie was to die for, Perfect balance of seasoning and so many chunks of meat that where so tender and the right amount of mushrooms.as well.

My wife's coffee was to perfection and as we own our Cafe on the Gold coast we are difficult with our coffee, and the customer service was awesome 😎

My kids got the scones with cream, so fresh and the cream was just perfect balance and real cream as well.

Definitely coming back tomorrow and next time we are in Cairns coming again for sure 😃

I've eaten from a lot of different bakeries around Cairns and Red Hill is the best by far.

As a member of the Meat Pie Appreciation group on Fb. I have been hunting high and low for the best pie and today l found it!
My benchmark is a meat pie. Your traditional meat pie was chunky, meat soft and tender, gravy consistency was perfect as l didnt wear it on my lap. Pastry, cooked well and crisp with absolutely no soggy bottom.
To the head Baker on Baked on Red Hill. I salute you Sir!🙂
