It is located well by the riverside which makes a fantastic lockout from every side. The lobby is designed so beautifully which creates a great attraction. Staffs are very helpful and friendly which makes the stay even more easy and pleasant. Rooms are equipped with all of necessary things and are clean with comfortable beds. Room service is fantastic. Breakfast was delicious with ample options to choose from. The gym and swimming pool are beautiful and clean. I would love to go back and stay there. Highly recommended. Thanks to Hilton Cairns management team for their incredible service.

Our recent stay at the Hilton was fantastic. The view from my room was breathtaking, facing both the beach and the mountains. Waking up to such a picturesque scene was truly unforgettable. The breakfast spread was also a highlight of my stay, with a delicious variety of options to choose from. The combination of stunning views and excellent dining made for a memorable experience. I highly recommend the Hilton for anyone looking for a luxurious stay with incredible scenery.

We had a great stay here! The staff were very friendly and helped us with any requests we had! Great facilities, drink service by the pool and a great gin bar in the lobby. Great location, extremely close to the waterfront and restaurants! Rooms were clean and tidy, hotel was also very quiet despite it being Easter. Will definitely recommend this to family and friends visiting Cairns!

Our two-night stay at the Hilton Cairns surpassed all expectations. While the hotel's exterior may not boast ostentatious grandeur, its understated elegance and impeccable service truly exemplified the essence of a five-star experience. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the pristine cleanliness, offering a refreshing sense of comfort. Our room provided breathtaking views, a perfect complement to the tranquil ambiance of the hotel's beautiful waterfront gardens. The breakfast spread was not only delicious but also offered a variety that catered to every palate. However, it was the staff's unwavering dedication to ensuring our comfort and satisfaction that truly stood out. Their warmth and attentiveness made us feel genuinely cared for throughout our stay. The Hilton Cairns encapsulates the epitome of luxury hospitality, leaving us with memories of a truly unforgettable experience. We simply could not have asked for more.

We travel to Cairns 3 times a year, have experimented with other hotels...the Hilton is absolutely best value for money, just a really nice and comfortable place to stay, I feel like I'm home when I walk into the lobby, rooms are well appointed, staff are great, views are fantastic and the pool is easily accessible. If I had any criticism, it would be the restaurant, nice but not anything to rave about. Out of the 4 hotels ( luxuary) Cairns hotels we have stayed at. This is the best, hands down.

Majestic Location. My family had a guest suite overlooking the city, mountains & the 5 star pool. Our suite was clean and spacious. The Hilton is only meters from the terminal for boat trips to Green Island & Fitzroy Island and a World Class Fresh Food Restaurant experience. Just around the corner is a park with an adventure playground for kids

We stayed in an executive room with a water view and access to lounge. The water view side is much nicer than the casino/city view - there are some noisy parrots chirping on the trees on the casino side, and of course the calm waters of the harbour are the main attraction!

The check in could have been better… a single man pushed into the queue in front of us, but the staff didn’t advise him to wait, just apologised to us. That’s acceptable, however risky …had I been in a mood to stand up to him, it may have caused a much bigger scene. How it could be handled better is for the reception staff to ask us: this guest is in a rush because he is a doctor at a hospital (or whatever) do you mind waiting?

There were a couple of issues during our stay like TV not working , coffee machine breaking BUT when raised, they were immediately corrected. Couldn’t login to WiFi from the lounge…and they ran out of bottled water on one occasion. Additionally I asked for special arrangements for luggage and late check out and we were accommodated with a smile!

Peter made checking out process smooth and easy! Such a great experience.

We enjoyed playing table tennis and using the pool area (although never ended up going in the water): there is a hammock, an instagrammable curly seat, a jacuzzi adjacent to the pool and the pool is a good size. There are many restaurants and a lovely walk stretching some km right outside! The marina is also a 5minwalk - so convenient for booking snorkelling or diving tours. The restaurant has soft lighting and we were provided with a great service, having come early, although could see the waiter struggling when the restaurant became busy. The food was creative and full of flavour and textures, the chef perfectly cooking the steak as requested! Outstanding!

The highlight of our stay was using the lounge on the 9th floor that had a harp performance one night! The sound gave me goosebumps and created a relaxing atmosphere that was a perfect romantic evening! It was the best surprise the hotel could offer me! Unbeatable value was created by a complimentary concert of live music!

Jarvis and Eena were the stars of Cairns Hilton team. Jarvis has a gregarious nature that I observed made him a favourite among all the other lounge guests. Eena was very efficient and a great support for Jarvis. Nothing seemed difficult for these two- we are a non drinking couple and Jarvis made us some mocktails from juice and sparkling water. Eena promptly refilled the food- which was always plentiful while they were on duty! These two provided us with an excellent service that is worthy of a capital city Hilton!

We try to stay at a Hilton wherever possible because of the consistency and while it’s impossible to hide that it’s a regional hotel, the staff really tried to make our stay special and this effort is appreciated.

Great hotel, wonderful staff. The pool is the best in Cairns (we've tried several), and the location is perfect. The hotel is slightly dated, but well kept up. The only problem: a lack of electical outlets at bedside. Otherwise a fantastic experience. Oh, and they have a ping-pong table!

The Hilton rooms are not as great as they should be with a few things not working here and there but Dan the Manager looked after us very well in solving the issues. Lilly at the breakfast was amazing everyday making our experience very special . Will definitely go back ! Location is first class. Went there for my 40th and they made it very special.

I really enjoyed my stay at the Hilton Cairns and is one of the better Hiltons I have stayed at recently.

Rooms are large, modern, and well appointed. The property itself is located perfectly, only a few steps from the marina where many Reef tours depart and not a long walk from the main town, making it easy to grab a bite to eat. I especially liked the pool area where there is an extremely large pool with an abundance of seating in both the sun and shade. The gym is on the small side and without a ton of equipment, which was the only demerit for the property.

The breakfast buffet was fantastic and appreciated that Diamond members get the upgraded breakfast for free. I also appreciated their well appointed executive lounge. Staff at breakfast and in the buffet were especially kind and friendly.

Amazing stay here for the weekend. Gold member and received late checkout of 2pm which was welcomed. Did not get upgraded to an Executive room and had to request Executive Lounge access.
Breakfast at Cafe Sunrise was fantastic, the manager and staff were all very friendly everyday!
Rooms were clean and maintained, didn’t feel dated at all. Loved the water view from the balcony.
It is at one end of Cairns City, which is abit of a walk but still a great location!

Usually a Marriott person but there weren’t any options in the area so I decided to try the Hilton. Very nice in a great location of Cairns, especially for tours leaving from the port to GBR etc. Rooms were modern - could’ve been a little cleaner but it’s Cairns and the best you’ll get in the area.

Was upgraded to a premium room as a gold member and the lounge was excellent. Canapés at the end of the day were great and service by the staff was excellent. Highly recommended

Very relaxing. Beautiful pool and spa bath. Within easy walking distance to the cbd and many lovely cafes and restaurants. Highly recommended.

My favourite place to stay in Cairns. Great rooms, big comfortable beds, excellent executive lounge, great swimming pool and nice gym.
Best thing about the Hilton is the location. Right next to Cairns Marina, across the road from the casino, 5 minutes walk to Woolworths in the heart of Cairns. I have stayed a few times and will stay here again.

Upgraded the room in a cyclone.
Stuck in rooms from midnight til cyclone passed. Staff very helpful.
Also provided everyone free lunch and dinner buffet.
Was impressed with supports avail for evacuation if needed
Luckily no cars were flooded overnight.
Business as usual next day

A great 5 night stay at Hilton Cairns. Located right on the waterfront a short walk from all the major activities and city centre. The staff was outstanding and very accommodating. The hotel breakfasts were also top notch. The room was large and very comfortable and I liked the internal atrium and green gardens. I would definitely stay here again when in Cairns.

We had an amazing experience at Hilton. Due to Cyclone Jasper, Hilton staff took all necessary measures to make us feel safe and they absolutely went above and beyond with the service. They provided meals and other necessary items at no cost and also provided entertainment material for the kids. I wish the Hilton staff all the best and thank them for their fantastic hospitality.

They took us in in the aftermath of the Cyclone. Everyone is super friendly. Breakfast is a real treat. And the sushi chef is out of this world a real culinary experience. There wasn’t much to do outside as all tours were cancelled due to the cyclone.

We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hilton Cairns. We have been very well looked after here during our week stay. We stayed in the King Hilton Spa Room, it offered incredible views of the ocean and hills. The spa was such a nice addition! The buffet breakfast has a great selection which varies slightly on different days, the service we received was always excellent. The executive lounge area was amazing! The view from the lounge was incredible in the evenings, again the service was excellent. The pool area was well kept and relaxing. The gym area had a good range of equipment and machines.

All in all we had a lovely time and will definitely choose to stay here again if we return to Cairns. The service at the front desk was great and the staff were always very attentive and helpful. :)
