Uncle Tee's Crepes Newtown

This is a little "hole in the wall" shop that's worth seeking out when in Newtown. Service was friendly and a large range of crepes on the menu - some with ice cream and some without. The ones I had have been delicious! A great place for a treat and sample of a little bit of Japan here in Sydney.

Been waiting for a good Japanese style crepe spot since the one in World Square closed years ago. The crepes were super fluffy, light, generous with toppings and just right! After ordering one, we absolutely had to order another. Customer service is super friendly. Definitely try the pudding while it's still the special for the month. Appreciate your food and good vibes! A sweet treat after dinner other than ice cream or gelato in Newtown. Small place tucked inside a wall and have a big variety of options!! I got the cheesecake one and it was delicious! Filled with the perfect amount of cream and generous on the strawberries 🍓 The cheesecake was creamy and decadent and not too sweat. Soft crepe and came in a nice cone!!

Friends also enjoyed their crepes as well 😌 Definitely returning 😇

Authentic and delicious crepes! We ordered the strawberry delight (with strawberry, whipped cream and Nutella). The crepe was soft, the strawberries were a bit sour but it balanced out the sweet cream and Nutella. The crepe also came out really fast and they had great service! Great dessert!

Before I get into how delicious these desserts are, I would like to share that the man that takes the orders is so friendly and polite. He’s so respectful to all customers, especially the delivery drivers. 20/10 customer service.
Now onto the desserts, yummmmm, their crepes are sooo good and fresh, they’re supper soft. They’re not too sweet or heavy. The cheesecake one is very tasty! I recommend you try “the lot” first!! Looking forward to trying their specials.

A cute little crepe shop hidden away from the bustling streets of Newtown. This is a family-owned shop that you should not miss out when being in Newtown and craving for some Japanese desserts. The crepes are made fresh to order as I could smell the nice fragrant coming from inside their home kitchen while waiting for my crepes in front of the shop. Banana delight was packed with fresh cream and they didn’t go small on their banana either. The crepe was full of ingredients so it was hard to finish by one person (lucky we shared this amongst us two). I just wish that the cream would be colder so it can bring out more flavours and freshness. There are a few chairs to sit in front of the shop to eat. They accept both cards and cash payments with no surcharges. Will definitely be back to try again.

So delicious! The custard surprise was everything I hoped for - rich creamy custard, pillows of whipped cream and fresh strawberries. Love the choice between eating straight away and taking home. Also love the street side window so I can walk the dog and grab some dessert on the way home - genius! Will definitely be back.

Situated inside Nara’s Thai restaurant in Newtown, this place has the most delicious, fresh crepes. Naughty or nice & healthy, you can choose your fillings including blueberries, strawberries, banana, cheesecake, Nutella & whipped Chantilly Cream. Or choose from one of their many recipe combinations on the menu. $6-$9 each for most combinations. Great to walk in off the street and grab, or as dessert after a Thai meal at Nara’s.

Very happy with my Japanese style strawberry and Nutella crepe.

The crepe itself was warm, soft, chewy, and had a good bite to it. Very well made, with generous amount of toppings. Very kind service from the owners.

If I lived in Sydney it would be dangerous because I’d come here everyday for a sweet sweet delicious crepe

The best Harajuku crepe in town! I've tried several other Harajuku crepe vendors in Sydney, but none match the authentic taste of Uncle Tee's crepe, which is exactly like the ones in Harajuku, Tokyo-Japan. Definitely worth a try—I will surely come back again

Got a crepe last night from Uncle Tees. Such a soft and light tasting meal that tastes delicious. I couldn’t keep my hands off it once I tried it. Could tell it was fresh as well. The staff was quite lovely as well. I’ll definitely be coming back again for another crepe when I’m in the area!

These are without a doubt my favourite japanese crepes in sydney. It’s authentic to what you might find in japan. The uncle is the sweetest and he does NOT stinge out on the inclusions. It’s literally filled from top to bottom. Im impressed.

The best Japanese crepe in Sydney, very authentic. Every time I come to Newtown I always have to get one! I’m worried they’ll close down one day and I won’t ever get to have it again 😭

Uncle Tee's Newtown offers an exceptional variety of freshly made crepes that are absolutely delightful. So so delicious! Came here for dessert after dinner nearby and the crepes were so delicious! I loved how many choices of fillings there were and how quick they were to be made.

This is an amazing hidden jem in the heart of Newtown. Their crepes are soo delicious, reminds me when I was in Japan earlier this year, as the Japanese people love their crepes. The price is good and the service is awesome too. This place is a must try for when your in Newtown in search of dessert.
