Billy's coffee

Billy’s Coffee inside Rustic Market offers a fantastic atmosphere where locals gather to socialize. The coffee is top-notch, and the staff are friendly and welcoming. I highly recommend trying their diverse coffee selection. Just be prepared for it to be busy, as it's a popular spot. Overall, it's definitely worth a visit.

Have to rate 5 star. Lady took my order immediately and smiled at me and quickly made LARGE LONG BLACK. She delivered it to me which was nice and it was super hot and thick magical caffeine goodness! 5/5. Zero criticism it’s worth going to coffee specialty place.

All Billy's places are excellent. The coffee is top notch, along with the atmosphere. The people are better. I always feel good after having a coffee and unwind at Billy's in Rusty's on a Sunday morning.

One of two Coffee places I regularly attend. A warm personal experience only adds to the beautifully rich earthy brew. Credit goes especially to Sokara (with a bit of help from Billy); she is matriarch of a motley crew, a talented lot, a generous bunch...I feel right at home

"Extra FROTH" travellers tip; if you want a traditional capacino with equal parts expresso, milk & crema foamy "froth" at Billy's (maybe all over Cans) just ask for extra FROTH, the result may not placate the Italiano, Milano, purists, fashionistas but its so much more satisfying then the "latte with chocolate powder on top" style that Cans seems to be eternally burdened with.
The best part of Billy's is the friendly obliging service, that & the very reasonable prices (they must give an extra discount if you bring your own "keep" cup).
The gallery space inside is ever changing & always worth the look, sometimes even brilliant local FNQ artists work.
If it's not busy, I'm sure the workers (one of whom I'm sure is either Billy or son of Billy) would be receptive of a coffee conversation to improve there already excellent service & products.

Arguably the best place in Cairns for your Cafe catch-ups. With the fresh art on the walls constantly and the laid-back, open-plan, rustic atmosphere it suits the Cairns vibe 100%. Excellent coffee and service too!!

Excellent customer service. One of the best hot chocolates I have had. My Husband loves ordering his coffee there. I also had the privilege of meeting Billy. He is so welcoming and is such a wonderful person. Definitely recommend 😊

Absolutely love Billy’s Coffee!! They also have a stand at Rustys Market on the weekends. Great coffee, also love the set up in the cafe.. there is nothing special about the layout just random chairs, they just focus on the coffee.. 💓

Billy's is an awesome spot for early morning coffee in Cairns. The coffee is outstanding and recently won a national award, coming third for their milk blend coffee. Monday to Thursday you can find them on Sheridan Street at the Crate, a funky simple Arts Exhibition Centre showcasing local artists. On the weekend you'll find them at Rusty's market. There is a very good reason Billy's is a favourite spot for locals!

A simple wow will do. On of the best coffees I’ve ever had in a very cool gallery cafe. Billy and his wife Sokara do it right. Wish I got to come to Cairns more often. Worth a trip out of your way.
