The Meat & Wine Co Parramatta

High-quality steak in perfect ambience. We had a booth upstairs and enjoyed the fine stuff on the menu. The medium-rare fillet steak was so succulent that it melted in your mouth, and the mushroom and peppercorn sauces complemented it very well. Paired with a Shiraz and a beer, you'll go home very satisfied. My go-to restaurant for quality steak, although slightly pricey.

First time eating out in Paramatta as a Kiwi and I was blown away by the dishes I had here. Tried the Barramundi and O’Connor fillet (it was oddly sweet) and the textures and flavours of each dish were really unique and were quite the experience! I overall enjoyed my time eating at this restaurant and even the setting and African decorations really set up the fine dining ambiance.

Came here for a company dinner. Excellent food and service. You get what you paid for, albeit a bit on the pricy side.
Their wagyu tartare was tender and delicate, although I wished it had more flavour. The ribs platter is a combination of beef and pork ribs, and they are both out of this world. Soo good and packed with flavours. Their dessert was also well executed, the creme brûlée was smooth and creamy. Overall, a great dining experience.

We didn’t have a booking, but were accommodated with the friendly attended on Friday 5 Jan 24. We were walk ins. Our wonderful waiter was Sanish. Our order initially was an entree to share Szechuan Calamari to start our evening whilst we enjoyed our wine. Our mains 200g fillet cooked medium well and salmon skewer accompanied by the roasted eggplant dish, and peppercorn and African Chili sauces. We were very impressed by our waiter Sanish, his knowledge of the menu was outstanding, it made for a pleasant and welcoming experience. Compliments to the chef, the food was cooked to perfection. The salmon is flavorful on its own, no sauce needed. Steak beautifully cooked. Our wine beautifully complimented our palette with our dishes. Sanish you helped to make our experience memorable, thank you. We would highly recommend dining here.

We had a booking and the service was excellent we were seated right away and all the food that was served was perfect! Our waitress Monica was so attentive and lovely. She was so patient with us and made the effort to chat to us and ask if we had a special occasion, it is our anniversary, she organised our dessert, it had a happy anniversary message that came with a sparkler! It was such a lovely experience with amazing food and great service, thanks Monica! :)))

Lunch out for work pre Christmas lunch. Express lunch menu, either 2 course or 3 course options. I had the Portuguese chicken skewer with salad. Chicken was seasoned well. Other food choices rump steak with chips, pork ribs, dessert biscoff and date cake with gelato for me. Was very delicious. Drinks took a while to come to table however could not fault the food. Food service was fantastic I had salmon skewer my husband 1/2 rack beef ribs - perfection starter bruschetta and side Mac cheese (i would love the recipe) attentive waiter wish I got his name
No big deal but table was inside around the back facing a wall of wine that waiters had to take bottles from not best view - I’d sit river facing next time

Just had a work dinner at meat wine co and Parramatta. Very friendly staff serving us, food was amazing even if it was the banquet. We had extra ribs and sides. Plently of alcohol, great atmosphere. Meet cooked to perfection. Although the drink took ages to come, and we had to keep asking them, but i quite enjoyed the night. Cant wait to take the missus on a date night.

Cannot fault this restaurant.
From first impression to the very end of the evening was great.
We ordered a range of various entrees, a la cartè dishes to desserts.
All were tasty and cooked superbly.
Special shout out the the manager on the floor that evening. He was great.
Parking: one block away, found within 10 mins in a multi level carpark.
Pricing: $$$$

Absolutely incredible restaurant! Officially the best steak I have ever had, and I am very picky with steak/red meat. I also tried the lamb and oh my lord, another Best! And I am more picky with lamb than steak.

Arissa was our server and she was so wonderful. Every question I had, whether about wine or the steak, she got exactly what I wanted.

We had dinner at meat and co on Sunday. Food and atmosphere were good! However, our steak was a bit over cooked. Exceptional service from Monica who help us change the the steak. Really appreciate her assistance. Would come back again

After eating here a few times, it hasn’t let me down. For starters, the location and venue itself is fantastic. Right next to the river and accessible parking upstairs where you come out the lift and you’re less than 50 steps away from the restaurant. I booked their private rooms one time for a large group, where food came out fast and the service very friendly and helpful. Having a 4 course meal, the family raves about each course all having their personal favourites. For me, although the food was great, it was more the ambience of the place itself. A venue that catered to my family enjoying an experience that created another memory to add to our albums.

The resturant is very spacious and great when they have to accommodate parents with kids. The tables were spacious and the cutlery was shiny, with clean, clear glasses. Staff were polite and attentive to our table. Decor was excellent.
We ordered the lunch three course combo and also the highly acclaimed steak tartar. We loved it although I think the steak tartare could have used a bit more flavour to hightlight the great taste of the meat. The slow cooked pork belly was delightful accompanied by an amazing cabbage salad and was the highlight of the dishes. The rump steak was great as well. We got a Fantastic blue cheese sauce to go with it. The calamari was cooked to perfection and was very tasty. The pork ribs were fall off the bone tenter and just right. The desserts were another high light; we enjoyed the cream brulee and the apple tart. The staff really took care of us and were very attentive.
Will definitely visit again.

If you're a steak lover like me, then this is the place for you. The food is delicious, the steak, no matter how you have it cooked, is incredibly tender and full of flavour, and the staff always go out of their way to give you a great dining experience. I highly recommend this place.

Definitely one of the best steaks I’ve ever had. Excellent quality meat and really good selection of sides and sauces. Dessert options good too. Good atmosphere, fast and friendly service and plenty of space.

Food is Ok, Barramundi and Stake quite good. Sourdough slices of the bruschetta was burnet so it was difficult to eat even with a steak knife.
Place is quite pricy in my book 😎

We took on of the rooms up stairs. Very nice cosy and chill environment. Very good for family dinner or work function.
Staff are absolutely amazing, courteous, prompt and friendly.

That steak was the business...... the family and I pulled up for our 14 year wedding anniversary and it did not miss. My steak was cooked to perfection, the loaded mushrooms was out of this word. We all enjoyed the marrow and we all had fought for the garlic cheese bread! So good here, with the ambience being warm and welcoming, the staff were great and always checking on us. Definitely a hit with our little family.

Delicious! Really very good food.
Start off with the entree, I had the Szechuan Calamari and hubby had the Bruschetta... delicious! The calamari is so soft, fresh and tasty. The Bruschetta is stunningly delicious!
For mains, we had the Monte-Thousand Guineas Shorthorn New Yorker with Salad and Creamy Mushroom Sauce. The steak was grilled and charred to perfection, tender, creamy perfect with the salad and the sauce. For desserts, we had the Blueberry Tart and the Creme Brulee, we just went to heaven and back 😋.
The restaurant ambience is very inviting and just gives you the vibe that you're bound to have a very good time and you're going to get the best food.
Service is impeccable. Staff are friendly, accomodating and very attentive.
