Far East Chinese Restaurant

Random lunchtime chance pop in. We were delighted with great food and friendly service. Loved our Singapore Noodles, Orange Chicken & Chilli Pork after great home made spring rolls.

Wonderful staff, came in on a Saturday and had two lovely young girls working. Very competent. Owners seemed lovely, kitchen staff were working so hard: busy busy!! Far East is my comfort food, been coming here for years and I can say without a doubt it’s the best Chinese I’ll ever have.

Very good. We ordered the sweet and sour pork, fried rice and spring rolls to take away. Took around 10 mins on a Friday night, friendly service, came to about 30 bucks, tasty and awesome.

We always order a king prawn dish. Never disappointed. Special fried rice has everything in it. Vegies always fresh and delicious.

My husband and I are staying in a caravan here during lockdown and ordered meals from Far East. Wow, the food is delicious. Usually the chinese weve had else where bulk up there food with heaps of onion, not these meals. Really fresh ingredients and lots of it. Thanks Far East for some enjoyable food 😊

Don not be fooled by the retro style of the decor. Far East Chinese Restaurant has wonderful staff and is a fantastic place to eat. The sizzling plates are just that sizzling and flavoursome. The calamari with ginger (my request) is great also. Great place to eat.

Forget Falls, forget Fleet....all you need is Far East.

The Jerry Springers (spring rolls) are a tasty snack, followed by some aromatic Fried Rice. The oven baked-not fried prawn crisps are the perfect palate cleanser between courses. The classics done well is always the test for a good Chinese joint.

The quirky retro fit out and gold fish make it more authentic down town China Town than your standard coastal joint reserved for when you tire of fish and chips.

Staff are very accommodating and don’t skimp on the sauce! They even catered to gluten free & vegan preferences. Quality cuisine with no judgement.

Amazing value for money with no corkage! If you’re in beautiful Bruns, branch out and take the plunge - do yourself a favour with a feed from Far East.

We will be making this an annual ritual for sure.

Wide selection of food, all absolutely divine. Personal favourite was the Duck with Crab Meat Sauce, tasted delicious for a fair price. Great for the family, gets a 10/10.

The service is great we love the quality and size of the meals and thats why we keep going back for more. You have to try the honey chichen & chilly squid.
