An enjoyable lunch. Excellent chunky beef pepper pie; shepherd's pie. Very good (french | european) vanilla slice; very good custard tart. Plenty of other choice for the next visit.

Forgot to take a pic I was so excited to dig in! I get a curry pie from every bakery I visit to keep the rating comparisons fair and this was by far the best curry pie I’ve had. Great flavour, and incredible pastry that held together without crumbling. 10/10 pie!
My husband said it must be good as I usually give running commentary of everything I eat, but he made note of how quiet I was while inhaling this one 🤣

Best Chunky Steak and cheese pie I’ve had in Australia, I’ve eaten pies all up the east coast of Australia and all over NZ coming from nz we love our chunky steak pies, Bittern bakery really made me smile today 5 stars ✨

Friendly little café that seemed popular with locals. Good parking. Coffee and donuts was very nice.

This bakery has got to be one of the best around. The pies are all delicious with good amounts of meat. The potato top pasties are one of my favourites, along with the bacon and egg pie. The cream donuts are very nice too. All that, and friendly courteous service as well. 5 stars from me.

Best pie I've ever had

Love this place. My go to takeaway. Haven't had a bad trip there so far. Staff are a bit quite but they are nice. Food is great. Love their pies and sandwiches/rolls. Not a fan of the vanilla slice. Will be going back so many more times.

Just great food. Pies are the best I've had on the Peninsula, and the family quiche is delicious (and around $20 cheaper than the inferior tasting ones in the next suburb down the road).

Hands down best peppered beef pies.
Not for those that aren't into heavy pepper.
Potato pie is great and coffee is good too.
Always go here at least once if I am in the area

They have a massive selection of pies flavours. My favourite is the mince and mushroom. They also make an excellent coffee.

Lovely service. Thanks. Always greeted with a smile every time I go into the shop. Welcoming bunch of staff. If only I had more jobs in the area I'd go in every morning for my coffee.

Pointing at the potatoe pie l was asked Would you like the mince or chunky beef. Tell you what that chunky beef certainly filled a starving me followed by half the jam out of the jar donut and an apple juice. Well what the heck l had a vanilla yummy slice too. Excellent friendly staff.

We live in Hastings, but travel to Bittern for their delicious pies.

I’m amazed at how unbelievable the food is here. Looks like a regular bakery, but the quality of their food is fantastic. Definitely my new eatery when I’m in the area.

Beautiful cakes and slices, the pies were worth talking about. They were beautiful eating. All we bought were baked on the same day. The prices were exceptionally low Would not hesitate in purchasing there again

First time one of the ladies made a milkshake with marshmallows, hit it perfect first go. Only the finest marshmallows, with the perfect amount of marsh and mallow ^-^

Such a fantastic bakery. Loads of options, delicious pies and sweets. Very underrated compared to other nearby bakeries, this one blows them all out of the park.

Welcomed with a beautiful smile and hello. Ordered the chunky potato topped lie and some cakes. Haven't had the cakes yet but the pie was fantastic. Thank you
