Amazing impressions of this venue. Calm and comfortable atmosphere with pleasant music. Our lunch consisted of 4 dishes and 3 drinks, the dishes we ordered were fried rice and long cooked meat in a sandwich with sweet potatoes on the side. I want to compliment Staff and the cook who prepared this wonderful lunch 🥗.

Caffiend is my go to cafe in Cairns. I have enjoyed their food, coffees and the barista's suggestion for the juice each time I have gone there as they are all very tasty. I like this cafe because their food items have an influence of international and indigenous flavours and local ingredients are used. Portion sizes are decent.

Really interesting Aussie brunch with Asian influences. Everything was cooked perfectly and generous portion sizes. Latte art was next level!

This coffee place is an absolute gem - starting with the nice name they picked. The waiter was very friendly and the food was very good. They took standard/known dishes and added their own twist to it. The chili jam on the chili eggs was a really good idea and great execution. The avocado toast is a classic, but it had a nice additional freshness to it. We also had the pour over, which came with some of the ground beans to smell the coffee itself. There were two cups to drink from, one that accentuated the acidity in the coffee and one that accentuated the fruitiness. The aromas of the coffee differed significantly between the two cups. The extra info on the card was an added bonus!

Overall, great experience and would recommend to anyone!

My buddy's iced chai was... Strong and sweet, perhaps a bit heavy on the mix but thoroughly enjoyed.

I was thrilled to see the burnt Basque cheesecake in the display is gluten free. I didn't try it but next time for sure. There's also a GF vegan brownie.

I didn't spot separate tongs in the display so be sure to talk to the staff about reducing cross contact with the gluten stuff in the display.

Love how this café takes native ingredients and adds them to their dishes. It really elevated my simple avocado toast ald poached eggs. Would highly recommend trying this place out !

The café impressed with its delicious coffee and fresh juice, setting the tone for an extraordinary breakfast experience. The combination of poached eggs with chili and coriander was a surprisingly mouthwatering delight, showcasing a nicely balanced flavor profile. Despite the limited availability of power outlets, the inviting atmosphere and friendly staff more than compensated, ensuring a return visit is on the cards.

This Breakfast exeeded all expectations. It was just perfect. The flavors were there, the dishes included local ingredients, and also the speciality tea was just superb. Great value because you get so much tea out of one serve.

This place is my go to for breakfast in Cairns. Best smashed avo I have tasted around. The whipped feta is to die for. Full of flavour and I always look forward to it when I’m around Cairns. Coffee is yummy too. Service is very good.

Best coffee shop in Cairns. Gourmet food, excellent espresso and filtered coffee, and an awesome ambience with local artists lining the walls. Must see in Cairns if you like coffee or breakfast

I'd say that this Cafe is a must for coffee drinkers. The owner is just wonderful. The barista Jimmy was congenial and knowledgeable about coffee, tea and product. The service was amiable and the variety of coffee served in the ambiance was delightful. The food was a gastronomical experience that left me full but still wanting more. I've gone here everyday for the past five days and I couldn't ask for more because everything that I needed was provided. We'll done guys. I'll be back again.

We came here twice in the same trip because of how nice this place is. The waitresses are friendly and would come check on us to ask if we need anything.

I love the Spiked Ice Tea. It’s very refreshing. The Caffiend Chilly Eggs (with avocado and bacon) is also very nice. I’m Thai so I did not expect the chilly jam to be up to my standard of spiciness. It’s really spicy and also very nice, reminds me of Thai’s น้ำพริก.

Wow what a special place - if you love food that is not stock standard & plays with your tastebuds this is the place for you! Coffee was strong and perfect. This rivals the best restaurants in the world! Try the Scrambled eggs with Miso, or the Kakadu Plum Eggs Benedict or the Tropical French Toast. All were 10 out of 10

Attention to detail at its best! This place deserves 3 Michelin stars! The barista is a true artist. We got a capuccino and a iced latte and both were amazing!

Now the food: the best mix of flavors and ingredients you'll experience! The Davidson Plum Eggs Benedict is a true piece of art, and the mix of textures is incredible! We also tried the Miso Scramble and is again very well balanced.

Top all of that with a great ambience and super friendly and efficient staff, Caffiend is a place that I will be sad for not being able to try again once my vacation is over .

Lovely cafe with amazing food. We ordered the Reuben Sandwich which had loads of flavour and the Chilli Eggs which lacked chilli jam but still great overall. The portions of the food were also quite substantial which reflects well in terms of the price. Came here on a holiday with my family and would return if I were to be in Cairns again.
