Chat Thai - Neutral Bay

What a lovely restaurant to have operating in the suburbs, serving authentic and delicious Thai dishes. It was a busy night, but service was friendly, prompt and efficient. Cocktails were well priced, and our table of 8 had an awesome time, tasting a variety of food and drinks. The stand out dish was a simple prawn fried noodles (see photo). It was quite expensive at AU$29, on account of the two large king prawns I believe. It was very tasty, but however hard to share between so many of us. Next time...I'll happily order this one dish to eat ALL by myself! The Pad Thai that we ordered was no comparison, and perhaps can be improved on...taste-, quantity- and price-wise. Well done Chat Time, please keep up the quality of food and service, and we will be back.

I have had Chat Thai multiple times in both Manly and Circular Quay. Today is my first time at Neutral Bay Chat Thai. I must say it exceeded my expectations. I can say the food is exception and the service is great too. Eggplants tempura with tamarind sauce is a must try. Tom Yum fried rice was my first time, and it will be my repeated orders for future visits.

The restaurant is located in neutral bay, the menu is quite amazing because you can choose in a variety of dishes. The food is fresh and delicious. The staff always was very kind with a good service. The milk tea beautiful.

I came here for the first time. This restaurant offers AuthenticThai food. The staff named Little and Ja are professional and sweet. I recommend everyone to try my favorite fish, Krapao chicken. You’re gonna love it.

Lovely place at the corner of the Woolies shopping village. Highly recommend the terrace seating with roof. Great service, awesome food, and chill music. Would love to come back for more🦐🇹🇭🥢🍹

Ja was very sweet looking after us. The food was amazing too. I ordered the Khao Soi Gai and the serving was very generous.

I always love some good Thai food, and this place ticks the box!

The staff were super friendly, it was a nice and cosy atmosphere, and the food was amazing!

You've got indoor and outdoor seating. It was almost at capacity on a Friday night at 8pm, but we managed to get a table for 2.

For starters, we ordered the pork ribs, which were really nice when you dipped it in the sauce. The meat just fell right of the bone ! For mains, we ordered pineapple fried rice, duck curry and soft shell crab. All three dishes were amazing and full of flavour. The soft shell crab was nice and crunchy.

The food took about 20-30mins to arrive, but it we were not in any rush and enjoyed the music playing in the background.

The bill did come up to $95 for two people, but that was because of the duck and the softshell crab (which were totally worth it! ).

Definitely coming here again!

Great, healthy vegetarian options with fresh organic produce from their own farm. Sat outside in the lush garden area. Nice. Easy free outdoor parking in the Woolworths carpark in Grosvenor Lane.

We love Chat Thai & come as often as we can. The food is excellent & servings very generous. Even though they were very busy we were greeted with a smile and great service as always , the staff are always quick, helpful & friendly even under pressure. We are so lucky to have an authentic Thai place nearby. Thanks

Here is a good place.
As a noodle lover, I recommend “Amy’s noodle”. Its prawn is so deliecious.

Chat Thai Neutral Bay is the best Thai restaurant in the area! Great food, amazing service at a reasonable price! All staff were wonderful! Special call out to Patty and Thana who were very welcoming and made our night!
