WOW! This specific spot has to be my favourite throughout the national park. Although the beach was incredible, we were visited by a pod of dolphins just to make it even more special. The shipwreck was very fascinating as well! A must see spot!!!!!

Awesome beach with the Ethel wreck poking out. The random big piece is the old boiler from the ship.worth the effort walking down the stairs but a fairly steep hike back up the stairs. There is a viewing platform at the top as well

At first I felt a little disappointed looking down at the shipwreck on the beach until I noticed there were stairs going down to the beach. You need to be reasonably fit to climb the stairs. It was fascinating to see all the parts of the ship scattered across the sand. Impressive waves at this beach with beautiful cliffs. Out of all the places at Dhilba Guurunda Innes National Park- this spot was my favourite alongside Corny Point.

The sea was very rough here. I honestly don’t recommend swimming here. I even saw currents like waves circulating closer to the beach. There are steps to get to the beach. The beach has some rocks which are sharp enough to create wounds. Be careful as you walk. The view from the lookout here is great. You can see some ship wrecks on the beach as well.

Magical views, the beach is stunning you truly feel like your at the end of the earth. The wreck on the beach is great to look at, and the stair case makes it easy to traverse the steep trip. Just a beautiful spot in Innes national park which is a must visit.

Nice walk down the stairs to the wreck. Would skip this one if mobility is an issue as it’s around 100 steps down and up.

Interesting to see the scale of the wreck and it’s remains. Make sure you wear shoes as there can be exposed metal under the sand.

Has ample parking and is paved road to the site.

As a family we spent the better part of an hour down there, understanding a little known aspect of South Australian history. The level of exposure from the sand can vary, so not a guarantee that you will get a good viewing, but the information section was effective in telling the story.
Stairs could present access issues, but the lookout can still provide a sense of the drama

Truly a must visit area when in the Innes National Park. Magnificent part of SA maritime history.
Need to be fairly mobile to tackle the stairs. But the view from the top is stunning.

Go explore what South Australia has to offer! Ethel beach is amazingly beautiful. Waves, wrecks and soft sand - what more could you ask for?!

Not sure if it was just the day we went or if it's regular but the massive waves added a lot of atmosphere to our time there. Should have brought our beach stuff and stayed for a while as you would have it entirely to yourself at times. Rare to have a beach with a ship wreck on it. Surprising to have access to a wreck that is now rusty metal shards sticking out of the sand where people are barefoot but enjoy it while you can.

Great view out to the ocean from the Ethel Wreck lookout. Good history explaining the wreckage.
Good beach to down in to if feeling fit for the stairs back up.

Stunning views of coast and beach is beautiful and moody. The ship wreck is clear on lower tide. If you're feeling fit, take the numerous steps to the bottom and back or just sit back and take in the view.

Ethel Wreck Beach Lookout is the stop you would want to check out and maybe go for a swim. The beach itself is pristine with a historic wreck. The carpark is at the top and there are a group of stairs that you need to go down to access the beach.

The water is clear blue and the sand is soft. If you are looking to refresh yourself after checking out the previous stops within the National Park, this is a must stop for relaxing.

Stunning coastline, a wind that nearly blew me away, crashing ocean, fascinating history. Well worth the easy walk down the steps to the beach to view the wreck.

Scenery is spectacular…the day we visited the wind was so strong I had to hold onto the wire fence so as to not get blown over but well worth the visit …although not much of the Ethel left to view
