3 nights at Gym Beach for the lead up to Easter. We'll maintained and amenities were spotless. Mostly had the place to ourselves. Amazing....

Stunning. That’s all I have to say. The views, the nature, the environment of it all just blew me away. I’ve never seen anything like it before. From cliff edges with massive waves to stretching coastal beaches one even with a shipwreck on it (Ethel beach) and to coastal bush/board walks, un disturbed natural sites and areas, Innes national park is truly a south Australian wonder. It was great to put my phone away and just enjoy myself and I did exactly that. Highly recommend.

Plenty of spots to see interesting nature, did a night walk with 2 rangers to see the Tammar Wallabies, was a fun family activity. Some fish wrecks in the area and light houses you can walk to.

Dhilba Guuranda-Innes National Park is the place that amazes and fascinates me the most on the Yorke Peninsula and I really recommend it, it won't disappoint. I suggest you set aside at least one day if you are a photography enthusiast and just want to scan all the sights quickly. But if you are an experiencer and like diving and surfing, it is worth spending a long weekend to experience it. With its rugged coastline, rolling hills and diverse flora and fauna, it's an unforgettable experience.
If you are a nature and animal lover, this place is also worth your stop. According to the park, there is an abundance of wildlife, including kangaroos, emus and echidnas, as well as more than 100 species of birds. We also saw lizards inadvertently, but unfortunately, we didn't see kangaroos. The park's coastal cliffs and sandy beaches offer stunning views and are great for hiking, swimming, and fishing.
One of the park's highlights is historic Inneston Township, a former mining town now preserved as a heritage site. You can explore the town's historic buildings and learn about the area's rich history.
The park also offers a range of camping and lodging options, from basic campsites to more luxurious cabins, making it an ideal destination for families and groups of friends. But to be honest, the surrounding area is relatively deserted. I'm not sure if you will feel scared at night, but it is definitely a unique experience!

Visited this national park as a day trip. But there are lot to visit. People are coming here for camping, relaxing and enjoying the environment due to amazing views and beautiful beaches. To enter the national park a payment of $12.50 is required per vehicle (not per person).

Formerly a gypsum mining area, the ghost town of Inneston is well presented. We stayed in a 100 y.o. limestone house which had formerly been the Engineer's Lodge, a large home sleeping 10 and providing lots of space for family meals, games, fire pit, verandas.
The only electrical appliances provided are a kettle and a toaster, but every other kitchen need was well catered for.
You need to bring your own bedding & linen, with the exception of tea towels.
The national park is beautifully covered with dense low shrubbery and provides beaches, hikes, fishing. No 4WDing permitted.
I visited in June, and although the weather was wintery, there were plenty of wildflowers out.
Please drive slowly, there are so many roos, wallabies and emus on and near the roads.

This is a must go place in South Australia. Entry to the national park requires a payment of $12.50 per vehicle (not per person). You have to do the payment online. There is an information center. However, they do not accept payments there. When you get closer to the park, on the road you will see boards mentioning that a payment is required to get in. You can actually get to the visitor center do the payment online while you’re there at the carpark. This place has got so many beautiful beaches, lighthouses, and picturesque animals, flora and fauna. A lot of people come here for camping. I would say, you honestly need about one whole day to explore all the places here. Every place is 2WD accessible. So no worries about your vehicle. I’m not sure of toilet facilities. I think the visitor center has one. But it was closed when we went there.

This has to be one of the most spectacular places on earth.

The beaches are absolutely stunning, and the infrastructure throughout the park is world class.

There are some amazing hidden gems in the park, and we've noticed more and more people getting out to explore them as we've visited over the years.

100% recommend more than 1 day to explore, you could easily spend a week gett lost in the beauty of this place!

Beautiful National Park at the end of the Yorke Peninsula a very much needed and well preserved area in contrast with the extensive agricultural ecological wastelands of the rest of the peninsula it is worth the drive you won’t be disappointed. The pictures are of a mob of Great Eastern Kangaroos hiding among the costal vegetation at sunset.

Stunning views, beaches and rock pools. We did a day visit and were selective about the 3 spots we wanted to visit, previous experience told us that there is too much to see in one day. We saw emus at Shell Beach.
Shell Beach rock pool was excellent; best accessed with reef shoes and is a good depth for jumping in and snorkelling when there are fewer people around.
A quick dip and photo opportunity at the blue Inneston Lake; so salty you can float and read a book at the same time!
Take plenty of water and food; very limited facilities in the park itself.

Great national Park at the bottom of Yorke Peninsula. Always plenty of wildlife and amazing beaches to meet everyones needs, surfing, fishing, swimming, photography it's got it all covered. If you are on the bottom half of the peninsula, give it a look you won't be disappointed. For the dog owners please note this is a national Park and dogs are not allowed. Enjoy people's.

Amazing national park well worth a visit and explore. Easy access for any type of car with mostly sealed roads, or well maintained dirt roads.

There is plenty to see and do; checking out all of the local beaches, doing the short hikes through the area, exploring Inneston, and many more things besides.

The camp sites are somewhat small, so keep this in mind if you have a large group. Some also lack any meaningful shade with low lying shrub-land on the coast so take shade and sunscreen!

We had an amazing time here. First time we went, the info centre patiently explained the park & the best swim spots. Second time, we did the different walks. Third time over christmas holidays, we returned to camp with our family and swim at Shell Beach and the rock pools. The facilities were good & well maintained.

Absolutely stunning. I highly recommend spending a day here exploring and camping. The park can be enjoyed over a day and camping is not required. Take time visiting each area as they have distinct landscapes. You may get lucky with a Kangaroo 🦘 or an Emu sighting. Do visit the lakes especially the Innes Lake with a walking strip in the middle. I would recommend checking the weather before visiting as occasionally there are strong marine winds that may be unpleasant. Overall, a beautiful place to visit.

Dhilba Guuranda-Innes National Park, now where do I begin? This place is a must visit attraction if you visiting South Australia, the whole national park has breath-taking scenery both ocean views and inland views. The National Park has rich history which you will learn from the many history signs at each location.

Drones are unfortunately not allowed within the park itself and you would need to pay for an entry fee to the park which I paid happily to further support the development of the National Park.

Every site had a whole new experience with places to park your car and many walking tracks which would take you days to complete everything this National Park had to offer.

There were many wildlife along the way so do take care if you are driving and make sure you bring sunscreen as going for a swim is a must.

Thank you Dhilba Guuranda-Innes National Park for a memorable visit.

Follow and join me on my next adventure!

Drove randomly to this park while staying in Adelaide CBD. Was in SA for the first time and just went there and didn’t regret it at all. This place is very lovely and has so many spots to visit and the only thing I didn’t do right was manage my time as you need at least a whole day to visit it all. 10$ is the entry ticket per car and you have so many points in the park. You just will be mesmerised by the beauty of it! Photos don’t do justice to this place!

Absolutely amazing landscape, plenty of walks with interpretation signage and history, animals and fauna to see, lots of hidden beauty, shipwrecks along the coast, Ethel wreck is amazing and has a cave on the same beach! Check out pondalowie bay for a washed up fishing boat! Cape Spencer cliffs and lighthouse, the food at the tavern is to die for! Absolute photography dream all around! Check out the Innes historical Township area for the broken down buildings and farm machines again with historical signage. You can pay before you get there online and if you need to charge your phone etc you can use the visitors centre!
