Incredible place to visit. There was less than 10 people roaming the beach and rock pools when I was there. Climbing over the rocks to get to the main rock pool takes little effort, it's right at the end of the rocks. Although I did not take a swim in there, I had fun fishing off the rocks. Sadly didn't catch a fish. I highly recommend visiting the national park and checking this area out. There are camp sites you can book through the SA parks website.

beautiful secluded beach, but the rock pool quite shallow in a regular morning low tide. you might need to get there at the certain tide, where it’s not too low and not too high. lots of small fish and starfish!

Great rock pool by the end of Shell Beach.
Perfect for a dip, some fun jumps, or just enjoying a relaxed time listening to the waves breaking around you.

Amazing patch of water in such a beautiful location. Such clear water, great for jumping in or snorkelling.
Be careful with tides and waves when closer to the edge.
Great family fun!!
Bit of a hike from the car park which will keep some people away, and a bit of a walk over very rocky terrain

Access is difficult, but you should definitely visit it because it’s beautiful and perfect for swimming.

Pretty rough walk out onto the rocks to get to it but the waves don’t crash over the rocks until you reach the pool. Went here at mid to high tide but I think it woud be better mid to low tide with calm seas

Great little rock pool to jump into. Be warned, the water is freezing!!! Can be quite tricky to find: once you've rounded the beach and reached the rocky outcrop, you need to keep climbing diagonally across and it's at the last outcrop before the sea. It's easier to find when looking on satellite mode on maps.

Beautiful beach. You can see star fishes of different colours in those small rock pools. To reach the big rock pool, it takes sufficient walk and you will have to climb the rocks. It's tricky but once you reach there, it's worth taking the hardship. Loved it.
