Perfect off grid camp spot. If you get camp.site 1, 2 you get clifftop sea views and great for caravans. Site 3 was closets to toilet but still very private. Other campers not walking through your site.
Camp site 6 looks to be a bit of a dudd when busy. It's right on the round about and looked small.

Amazing beach and rock pools. Rock fishing and lazy days. So good.
Even had emus on the beach!

Very windy when we went for new years, which was good to keep march flys at bay, but I would not want to stay in a dome tent here.

Nice spot with amazing views. We encountered some bees but as we had read previous reviews, we had lemons and cinnamon to keep them away form the site. There aren't any stairs to the beach but it isn't too hard to access it. Photo is from site 1

My partner and I stayed in campsite 5 for the past 2 nights and it was absolutely beautiful and very spacious. It is one of the biggest out of the sites and is tucked away and covered by trees. The only issue that we had were the bees.. now I’m not talking about half a dozen bees here and there.. they were legitimately everywhere. As soon as the sun came up, they were all over our swag and everything. They were also at the beach but not as bad. They weren’t aggressive or anything, just looking for water but they are there until the sun goes down. Campsite 4 also had them which scared off 2 sets of campers. If you are booking at Gyms, just be prepared for the bees and you’ll be laughing!

Water tank has been removed from the amenties block and the bees are flocking to any sign of water within camp on dry days. Asides from that, very nice, relatively quiet location with only a very short walk to the beach.

It's a great campsite. Good for fishing, caught few salmon of the rocks. Clean toilet, be prepared for the bees.

Great secluded camp spot - beautiful beach - close to other scenic spots - only bad point, the feral bees were a problem during the day.

Beautiful spot but be aware that if you stay in Campsite 6 you might have some people walking through your site to follow the trail down to the beach (I even had one group of around 15 people). However, others appeared to be considerate of my privacy and found an alternate route. Maybe they should turn this site into a carpark and access point for fishermen and others to get down to the beach?

Survived a wild and woolly week. Currently no rain water at camp ground. Beautiful and tranquil spot.

Fantastic fishing and diving spot. (Camp toilets swarming with bees during day hours) Beautiful view from 2/6 campsites but with minimal privacy (on the side of entry/exit road).
Very snake infested area during warmer months.
Beautiful views and beachs and Rocky outposts but is only accessible by steep narrow path hill walks in soft stand. (Lots of cliff edges around)
Bees ruined the trip for my other half as she is allergic and they were everywhere even by the waters edge.
More suited for active campers or keen fishermen.
30 minute washboard road drive to get to camp ground off bitumen road.
Suzuki swift hatch back did it fine going slow even with a heavy load.
PS. Camp 5 is the most private of the main track.
