Mac1 Service University of Wollongong

Great staff but unfortunately closed now....uni was charging an astronomical rent...go figure...a very sad loss.

They must've listened to past complaints, because shop was easy to find (supported with online maps and physical sign posting). I delt with 3 different people and all 3 were professional, polite and helpful. They gave me a reasonable timeframe for fixing my Macbook and actually got it back to me quicker than expected. Exceeded all my expectations! Would highly recommend them!

Excellent expert service and advice. My daughters laptop ‘died’ on the afternoon before HSC home learning trials. Lexi sorted it out for us that afternoon. Highly recommend this business for any computer repairs and maintenance. Huge thanks!

After reading the existing reviews left for MAC1 Wollongong, I was hesitant to have my Macbook Pro repair done here but was left with no other choice.
Initial service was quick and polite, I dropped my laptop off and explained my issue etc. I was told the repair would take approximately 5 business days.
The following day, I was pleasantly surprised to receive a phone call notifying me the repair was already complete. I went in and picked it up straight away, and to my delight my Macbook was as good as new. Since it was still covered by warranty, I didn't even have to pay a cent! Fantastic experience and would highly recommend.

I was dubious about coming here after reading the reviews. However I had a really great experience thanks to Nicola. She was extremely professional, communicative, knowledgeable and helpful. Thanks so much Nicola for getting my phone sorted for me.

I couldn’t disagree anymore with the negative reviews. I have dealt with Mac1 multiple times and their service has been exceptional every time.
Just recently I had an extremely quick turn around with my MacBook repair at a very reasonable price.Their team was extremely communicative and transparent.
I strongly recommend them for both repairs and the purchasing of new products, which come with the obvious benefits of being an authorised apple retailer.

Just had a couiple of questions to ask of the staff, they helped me out without an issue and also fixed up the piece of lint I had in the charging socket for my ph! :) They made my day for the easy help and answering my questions.

A huge thank you to the young lad who assisted me with my i-phone today after the lads at Optus couldn't fix my issue. The lad was very polite and went out of his way, trying various solutions to solve the problem. Many thanks.

My 15 inch mid 2012 MacBook Pro has an issue with the flex cable on the hard drive. I phoned these clowns up and the person said that the mid year unibody models all have an issue with this part and they will fix it free. I drove all of the way in there only to be told that it is only the 13 inch models? I told the clown on the phone that it was a mid 2012 15 inch and he said they they will fix it for free (as stated earlier). They wanted $99 to diagnose the issue and then more for the part! I rated it 5 stars because this review might only be shown if they have... To sum it up, if you want to waste your time and all of your money, then this tiny little shop of dumbos is for you. It is definitely no genius bar!

Went to mac1 at wollongong uni to buy my daughter a new IPhone as her old one water damaged. As I don't know much about iPhones as my husband & I have samsung phones. Harley explained between the difference between the phones. He was very knowledgeable about the difference between the phones. He knew what he was talking about. One of the best sales person I have dealt with plus very polite. I highly recommend them. Harley was abosoluty fantastic he knew exactly what he was on about.

Super friendly staff who helped us diagnose the issue with our computer. They ran tests and explained what our problems were and gave us the necessary information to fix it.

Just had my computer repared by the mac1 shop at Wollongong and the staff and repare people were so helpful and polite that i would recommend that shop and its staff to anyone. i was a bit sceptical at first because of some of the other bad reviews but the service I got was 100 percent, Thanks Mac1 Wollongong

MacBook Air repaired in less then 24 hours. Last year my son's Pro was repaired in 2 days. Staff I dealt with were friendly and professional.

The manager was so helpful. He understood that I really need a phone and sorted out a loan phone for me so mine could be sent away. Great help !!!! Thanks Ty

So much hate for this business... Seems unreasonable, I've been here a few times and I've always had the service I expected.

Both on the phone and in person the staff at Mac 1 Wollongong were friendly and helpful. They told me what to expect and fixed my problem quickly.
