I grabbed a coffee at the airport. The people serving me were some of the nicest people I've met. They were generally friendly and happy. They looked after me, and they were so attentive.

This place sells a great range of fresh food and a lot of things to take away, including wine and spirits plus souvenirs.

My piccolo latte was spot on.

I have just had the most wonderful experience here!

Clint made it especially lovely. I would have not overloaded my carry on with as many goodies as I had if he hadn’t enlightened me on the local distilleries.

I went from picking up chocolates, honey, and creams to purchasing gifts for everyone and locally sourcing them. Hoping the flight attendants look the other way.

You can also have a coffee or pint and freshly baked pasties and pizza if you wish. So many options for gifts and souvenirs.

This has now intrigued me to book another trip to Cairns to tour the local distilleries.

First time through Cairns airport and unsure where to grab a quick bite. Staff was friendly and helpful, atmosphere was classy with brick walls and mood lighting, and prices were good for an airport.

Coffee is great, very strong is what i needed. When i was there Mt Uncle gave me free taste testing, fantastic!

Thanks to previous reviwer we made our way to Icons. It is tucked out of the way so you do have to lookout. 2 delicious cappuccino and toasted New York reuban sourdough sandwich. Spot on and so much other food items to take home. Lovely quiet atmosphere to relax before the flight 😍

The lady in there on Monday 11th sep 6:45 pm was so nice. She was so nice and friendly. I will definitely be back. One of the most beautiful moment that I had at Cairns in my 3 day trip. 100% RECOMMEND!!!!

We decided to stop at this cafe this morning after looking around where best to eat at the Domestic Departure. This is certainly the best place to have a quick meal. Own by lovely happy couple, service was great 👍

I came here with my partner and found it absolutely exceptional. The Devils Thumb Rainforest Gin was amazing! More importantly, the staff couldn’t have been any better. We’ll definitely be recommending this place to our friends flying out of Cairns.

Very nice little coffee restaurant with delicious snack options and an assorted selection of local gins. Very cozy and the place to chillout while waiting for your flight.

This place is an exception to the rule. An airport bar/cafe with both excellent service and offerings.
