The George Perth

We purchased a red balloon voucher for the 3 course meal with a glass of wine.
We opted to get at an extra cost a bottle of wine to share and some hot chocolates at the end of our night.
The food, was AMAZING! the only thing we didn't like was affagato, that was not the nicest. But it is each to their own.
There were a few choices available for the entree, main and dessert.
Quite the variety of different tastes but not enough option to make you feel overhwelmed.
We really enjoyed our meal here and look forward to coming back next time we are in the state.
Our waiter/bar tender (Qwan so sorry about the spelling!) was so lovely. He was patient and very accommodating to requests we made.

What an experience it is to dine at The George! The only fault I have is the martini. Glass and tin to be chilled. 5ml fresh vermouth (if the bottle is open for longer than a week the flavour profile changes) over ice, add gin and STIR (do not shake, James Bond is not a genius). Let flavours combine naturally, shaking is for emulsion purposes. Garnish was great but for the extra little kick, an orange peel twist which has had the oils ignited over the martini would top off your cocktail well.
I think I went off topic. Keep up the great work guys!

I hosted a Hi-Tea at the george last weekend and fell in love with this venue.
The food was reasonably priced, tasted amazing and everything came out on time.
They definitely deserve this 5 star rating for going above and beyond with this service.

Like their customer service and the food was absolutely fantastic.

Fantastic service, open nice and early, and the pricing is reasonable.
Large flat white was smooth and creamy, the George Grande was cooked perfectly and was delicious.

Great little book store in Perth. Was just walking along and kinda stumbled on it. I spent about 30 min walking around inside, lots of books to choose from, and it has an old bookstore feel to it. Fairly convenient as it’s right off the main walk, and I am sure you will find something that suits your interest. I am a fan of gardening and plants.. they even had books for me! 😂

Absolutely love this place I’ve been for high tea and also for dinner food is incredible - only thing was they had a tv on which was right above us which kind of ruined the atmosphere while we were having our high tea and it would have been nice to have a full teapot left on the table rather than the waiter having to top up our cup. Service was impeccable however for my liking I prefer to be left to enjoy the conversation with family rather than being interrupted every 15mins from the lovely wait staff. That’s entirely my opinion though I highly recommend this restaurant

Had the best night with the team. Must say the best Christmas party I’ve hosted in my 23 years at the company. Food was excellent as was the service. Great location, amazing cocktails and gin options. The directors were impressed as were all the other 170 guests. Thanks to Manager Farooq and the team at The George. Would definitely recommend!

We went for high tea and they were ready to serve not long after we got there. The service was very polite and helpful and the owners were lovely! We enjoyed our high tea which included unlimited tea/coffee. Overall good experience

Fabulous! We had high tea at The George - the staff and service were excellent. The food was delicious with a good selection of savoury and sweet treats. We had a pot of tea each and were offered a second pot, all included in the price. Would highly recommend and would definitely return. A very enjoyable afternoon :)

Great restaurant in the quiet area of St Georges Tce. Very classic/classy look and a good ambience. Service was prompt, polite and professional, and the food was excellent. Medium rare steak and chicken kiev were both wonderful. Very reasonable prices for food and wine by the glass. Highly recomended.

Hosted my anniversary lunch. We chose the set menu and ordered on the day. The function room and courtyard is a great private space. Location worked well for everyone coming from different parts of Perth. We wished we booked in longer as everyone was having a good time but the manager let us move to the front of the venue as they had another function on in the evening.

The team at The George made our bride-to-be’s Hen Night one she’ll never forget. The staff were so accomodating, the food was incredible, the drinks flowing, and the team really went that extra mile, which made the night beyond special. We had our own private little “night club” in the back room, which was perfect for our Hen Night activities, and the sound system and lighting really set the scene. If you’re planning an event, I highly suggest booking it at The George. Can’t thank you all enough, and I can’t wait to plan our next event here!

Booked high tea for school girls catchup who are now in their mid 30s. Lovely service and food. We were able to enjoy a lengthy catchup. The Prosecco is delightful, as was the Scottish gentleman who works there (he's also easy on the eyes ladies). Worth a visit.

Really tasty food, great service and beautifully decorated. Love love love the booths!

We had a pre-theatre meal at the George with another couple. Our table was in a quiet booth so that we could have a good conversation. Music was discreet and the ambiance was lovely. The menu had variety and quality. We had scallops and salads for entree, followed by the snapper and fillet steak for mains. The meals were cooked to perfection, just brilliant. The service was spot on - allowing enough time to decide on drinks and food, and serving at the right times - no pressure and all timely so that we could enjoy our meal and have plenty of time to get to our show. All in all one of the best meals we have had in Perth!
