If you want a bit of a quirky place with lots of character, lovely hosts and close to everything then this is your place. Breakfast is both complementary and sensational!

It is a very interesting and quirky heritage building in great location. The owners were lovely and very helpful. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful.
My room with ensuite facilities was huge.
Tea and coffee making facilities and a shared fridge is available on the landing.
I would definitely stay here again.

We had a great stay. Lovely hosts and a great location. Feels like you're sleeping in a museum, a unique experience. My wife suffers from asthma and hay fever but had no problems. It was summer and we did keep the windows open.

We loved this clean and quirky guesthouse, with its heritage charm and lovely hosts, Cathy and Phillip. Great location-very central, can easily walk to anywhere in the city centre. Includes secure parking, home-cooked, amazing breakfasts and lots of thoughtful little touches such as complementary port and a private guest kitchenette, well-stocked with tea/coffee/bikkies! We loved staying there- highly recommended.

We loved our stay at this quirky, heritage- listed property, so close to the heart of Albany that we could walk almost everywhere. Cathy and Philip keep the place clean and interesting, and are such welcoming and helpful hosts. We loved the little touches that made us feel at home, from secure parking to complimentary port, the well-stocked guests’ kitchenette and Cathy’s amazing breakfasts. Highly recommended!

Interesting historic building, very well located, fascinating quirky decor, excellent cooked breakfast, good amenities, secure parking, lovely hospitality. Not changed in over 20 years staying there. Most enjoyable and best value accommodation stayed at ever.

Have stayed here twice in a month , very old looking because it's heritage listed , very nice . Last time we got a bigger room , more roomy and more comfortable. The breakfast is very nice and so are the owners. .

I’ve never seen such a lovely house. I was able to spend a lot of fun with the owner's hobbies such as the collection of paintings and cameras . This hospitality was so great as well. Thank you.

If you like collections, memorabilia, old things, victorian buildings and being looked after, this is the accommodation for you. Every metre of the walls under the seriously high ceilings is packed with reproductions of classical paintings. A very comprehensive camera collection lines the halls and dining room. In a great location near the train/bus station. Quirky with a great breakfast and lovely, helpful host.

We've just spent a night here, very quirky but interesting building in a fantastic location. Peter is an excellant host, he went above & beyond helping us during our stay. Would toally recommend, we would definately stay again

Charming, gorgeous, well placed accommodation. Wonderful Manager who made us feel so welcome. Fabulous, memorable and beautifully decorated, would highly recommend it to anyone who wants to visit Albany and have an expereience to remember.

I stayed at this place a couple of years ago when attending the classic car racing. It is one of the best places I have ever stayed. Absolutely fascinating, great service from the host.

Absolutely beautiful kind lovely hosts, very nice stay In the heart of Albany close to cafes restaurants and the great IGA there.

Place looks creepy at first. But it's a very different experience. Loved chatting with the owner and the manager. Listening to the story of the guesthouse adds to the experience.

Interesting place to stay huge camera's collection and lots of artwork. Massive rooms and reasonable breakfast.
Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Great place to stay, perfect location, and a very large vintage camera collection on display to add something extra.

It was a really lovely place to stay. Close to amenities with parking onsite. Will be staying there again next time we are down in Albany
