NRMA Cairns Holiday Park

One of the best parks we've been to.
Clean amenities, great laundry facility, and nice kitchen.
Most of all, really helpful and kind staff.
We enjoyed our stay, thank you.

We have stayed 4 weeks and loved it very much. We normally checked out on the weekend to go explore and we were back and they had no problem with us booking this way. The park is tight but plenty of room for our little HiAce van.
The bathroom and kitchen are well kept and we were especially grateful for the freezer!
Beautiful birds everywhere and options for shady sites and sunny sites. It can get a little muddy in the rain but that's because there is so much wonderful greenery to enjoy. The staff are helpful and very friendly, giving plenty of recommendations of places to go and activities around, which you can book at the campsite. It's also a great location to get around from and made it easy to explore the city while here.
They offer morning tea every second Tuesday and reef talks that same Wednesday for free which is a way to gather and meet people if you're willing to come along and chat.

Stayed here numerous times, on my own for work, and with my 3 daughter on vacation. Great location, clean amenities, lovely staff and willing to help with just about anything. 4/5

Great caravan park, quite and lots of shade, excellent location close to town, lovely and clean, reception staff very good and helpful, you can get a great coffee at reception and they stock a few essential items … milk bread washing powder biscuits etc.

Amazing spot, very well priced and the staff go above and beyond to help. Stayed here for months this year for university placement. Highly recommend.

We’ve stayed here twice. Once in our Motorhome for a week and also in a lodging for a few nights when we were waiting for Fiat to fix it. Both stays were great, the amenities are modern and clean. The site is well located just 30 mins walk to central Cairns and 20 mins to some great walks on Mount Whitfield and the botanical gardens. Fiat fixed our Motorhome quicker than anticipated and Bethany in reception was super helpful and flexible in letting us shorten our stay and refunding unused nights. We’d definitely stay here again on our next visit to Cairns. Thanks again Bethany 👍

We stayed at the NRMA Cairns Holiday Park for 5 nights. We have a 23ft caravan and 2 large breed dogs. Not a problem. We arrived and received a complimentary dog welcome pack for our 2 dogs. Very friendly staff. Close to many shops, lots of trees, pool, close to open spaces for dogs to run around, has excellent facilities including laundry room. Our favourite part about this place was the events they held. Every couple of days they hosted morning teas and trivia which is unique and excellent for those who are wanting to meet others. Safe and secure area. Pet friendly. Variety of people of all age groups. The caravan lots are close together however the trees in between the lots provide some privacy. Pricing was reasonable and does include a discount for NRMA members which is helpful.

Good location in Cairns. Large and clean facilities including big camp kitchen. Minimal privacy however due to it being a smaller campground. Great for if you would like to be close to the esplanade. Very nice reception staff.

Great cozy cabins, had a very comfortable stay and beautiful area throughout the park. Super friendly and helpful staff. Only recommendation would be to put a shelf/bench or something in the showers for an area to put belongings. Other than that we absolutely loved our stay.

Service was excellent. We were booked by Deb and when we checked in we were treated like long lost friends. The grounds are clean, gardens and facilities well maintained. Room was clean and suited our needs perfectly. Definitely recommend.

Great place where to stay at Cairns. Good toilets and showers. Rest room and laundry room.
Big kitchen place with barbecue and picnics tables. Many fridges. Centre of the Cairns 30 minutes by walk or 7 min by bus from near stop.

A great location to everything Cairns has to offer. Very friendly staff with well kept grounds and facilities. Excellent customer service on bookings of tours/activities with some picking up from this wonderful tourist park. Highly recommended.

NRMA Cairns Holiday Park is a lovely park to stay while in Cairns. It is dog friendly and you even receive a lovely dog pack on arrival with treats. There are plenty of shady spots for vans out of the hot sun. A lovely pool and clean amenities. The camp kitchen is well equipped and there is a laundry. The park is close to the centre of Cairns and the bus is just outside if you would rather not walk to the shops.

Booked into a powered caravan site. The park is full of beautiful gardens, clean and easy accessible facilities.
Close to esplanade and city centre.
Will definitely be booking again!!

We were too late with booking (was completely full) but the staff helped us really good getting an unpowered spot on the ground, which was nice and flat too. We could use all the facilities which were very modern and clean. Good place to stay for a good price as well.

One of the best parks I have stayed at in Aus. Lovely staff, super clean amenities, awesome camp kitchen.. and fair pricing. We stayed with our 2 dogs and we even got a little dog bag with treats and poop bags. Love this place!

Very well organised caravan park, clean, close to the beach, town and very friendly staff . I had an impression based on the reviews that the caravan park had very squashed spots but arriving I noticed that comparing with a caravan park that I stayed in Caloundra in QLD , In here (NRMA Cairns. ) they have a
very spacious spots for the caravans. I love this caravan park and I will be back. Happy customer.:)

My partner and I stayed in a lodge for 5 nights, we originally had booked for 3 but extended our stay.

The staff are extremely accomodating and lovely, the room was clean and comfortable.
The air conditioner worked perfect.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay after driving from the Gold Coast, it was definitely worth the stay! Super affordable too.

Just chillin at an outdoor kitchen and grill with other backpackers around the world. Great place for families and backpackers alike. It’s a good budget option, well stocked kitchen, pool and shower house.

Super friendly staff, nice shady powered sites, clean showers and toilets. The amenities do close during the middle of the day for an hour and a half per gender, but that's the price for a clean toilet and shower I suppose. The shower is hot and pressure is good. The pool is clean and has some shade. Love the tropical-ness. Only a short drive to the city and reasonable rates.
