The Chicken Shed (Cairns City)

I'm glad I found this hidden gem before leaving Cairns. The atmosphere at this restaurant was delightful, and the food was both beautifully presented and delicious. The staff were friendly and welcoming. Highly recommended for a memorable dining experience! 👍🏼

Omg what an amazing meal! Well priced, so flavourful, and the food was fresh! The staff are very nice and the atmosphere is great. Plenty of parking outside.

The chicken shed burger looks basic on the outside, but it’s full of flavour & it’s juicy messy goodness 🤌🏼
We also tried the pulled pork lettuce tacos (not sure of their official name), and the pork was super soft & also full of flavour!

Breakfast in the Chicken Shed is an indulgence in having a delicious lunch of Korean inspired creations but for breakfast. My delight at being able to order a Bulgogi Wrap at 7:50am with a large latte was real. The prices are incredibly reasonable and the coffee, most importantly, is delicious. Full bodied and balanced in a way I didn't expect at a place called Chicken Shed.
The decor is also fun to look at. It has style, this place.

Boy oh boy! What a tasty spot to stop. Prices are really reasonable and perfect size. The Korean Fried Chicken was my favourite, so tasty. Can't wait to return and try everything on the menu. Insert drool face.

Love it! Great taste and a reasonable price point! I’m a fan of their rice bowls and smoothies! They have got a good breaky menu too that runs from 730am to 1130am. Their lunch menu runs till 2pm so catch them early!

This is a must visit. The whole experience was amazing. All staff are friendly and helpful. The food is extremely tasty, with well-balanced flavors and intetesting food menu as all chicken menu. Highly recommend this place 👍

Absolutely the best food experience I've had in years, this place is the place to eat if your in cairns. Grate food, grate staff and cold beer to top it off 💯

I've always loved chicken shed since it was in Rusty's Market. It's even better now they have their own location. The Korean Benny is the best Benny I've had anywhere and the Kimchi fried rice bowl is so tasty I will always come back 😋

Served by Katie who is so friendly and makes you feel welcome even though i was one of those customers coming in 5 mins before close!!! Now thats paitence. Food is just what you want when you want chicken. Good prices too. And their playlist has classics from the 2010s which is boss

No filter needed, great burgers perfect portions at great prices. Loved the service and the vibes were great will definitely eat again :)

Amazing food and tea. The breakfast chicken burger was just amazing. Wouldn't change a thing. The Koreano Benny was beautiful. And gotta say the prices are really good for the quality product. It's obvious that a lot of love has gone into the menu here. Would come back 100%.

Now, one of my favourites in Cairns. Their food is always good, consistent and quick. The staff are friendly and they are often busy. Is this place Korean? Mexican? Fusion? Whatever you label it, their menu items from Korean fried chicken to chicken quesadilla to chicken burger are tasty. I love it so much I always order too much! Highly recommended.

Food was fresh and full of flavour. Staff were great and friendly, food came really quickly and the prices was really good. Will be coming back to try more of the menu.

Great food, great service. I got a panini sandwich and it was unreal. The cheese inside of it was good and surprisingly didn't upset my tum. Highly recommend this!
