Always great friendly service. If there is a queue, it moves quickly. There is something on the menu for anytime in the day. Gluten free options available.

What a lovely, lovely place. I’ve worked in Centrals for 5 years and only decided to try Coast Roast yesterday. The older English gentleman with the Christmas hat at the counter is so positive and radiating great energy and the older lady with the glasses took the time to explain the ordering system to me as it was my first time trying lunch.

I had an eggs bene with a fresh juice; and yes, it is on the pricey side and not an every day treat but it is ABSOLUTELY worth it once a week and I am so looking forward to coming back for my weekly eggs bene! Beautifully presented and I enjoyed sitting in my own atmosphere; people watching and enjoying my meal.

Everybody said goodbye on my way out. 10/10 I’m coming back again

It is definitely pricey but worth every penny! The avo toast might be the best I have had and the staff are so friendly and nice!
I do not understand why there’s people so annoyed at the poor pigeons tho, they are cute and do not even approach or annoy you… and for me it is just an extra point for the cafe!!

The owners are generally very straight forward and not usually chatty or friendly. I'm guessing it's because the food and drinks are absolutely phenomenal, so the place is always packed and they don't really have time to stand around and chat. If you want a place with a great feed, great coffee, and no interaction, look no further!

Visitors in Cairns, we were a party of four looking for a good feed and we found it here! We arrived at around 10:30am on a Monday morning so it wasn't too busy. The food was well priced, tasty, well cooked with generous portions and their service was prompt and friendly.

Excellent service, visited on a Saturday morning busy and cheerful, fast service and helped me find a vegan takeaway option. As we were removing some dairy items the chef added olives and salad the best takeaway avo on toast I've ever had!!
Everything warm and cooked well, feels like you can taste/ see the love and care in the food preparation both on display and brought out :)

Coast Roast staff and owner always ensure that the customers will have a good experience. All the staff were attentive and friendly. Always a good experience dining in at this place. Highly recommended for breakfast & lunch when you’re shopping at Central.

One of the nicest cafes I have been to in ages the food was spectacular along with the coffee which was smooth beyond comparison. But what really stood out to me we the fact that chefs and waiters/waitresses are able to move at such speed and still provide a wonderful meal and service (Inside and outside there was not a single spare table seen)

Fantastic service and amazing food and coffee. I could not make an order which cake was the bast. All cakes looked so nice.

Have eaten at Coast Roast on numerous occasions & always been impressed with their food service & reasonable menu prices. Our last visit on Tuesday 24/08/21 with delicious tasty food.

In my opinion, this is the best restaurant in Cairns. I’ve eaten here 4 times now and the food and service always impress. Pictured is the Gnocci Lamb Ragu (special from today)

We ordered the eggs Benny and the ultimate breakky...... wow.. absolutely 💯.... Staff & service are amazing!, efficient chefs/ kitchen staff! And the food is next level.. tastes fresh, exciting with flavour, cooked perfectly to how you prefer.
Great vibe, great atmosphere!!!

The staff are always efficient and helpful. My mum uses a wheely walker, and they are helpful about seating and if needed give some help exiting a busy cafe. The food is generally really good also. Great selection.

It was the fresh fruit salad and sweets that first stopped me in my tracks - it looked as though it had just been cut up without any of the browning and drying out that other fruit salads on display get. It was delicious, with no seeds, rind or nasty surprises that you may get with some other cafes.
On my second visit I had scones, jam & cream. The scones are light and fluffy, though they don't sag in the middle when you pile on the plentiful amounts of jam and cream that accompany them. I was planning to go back for some lemon meringue pie, but was still full from the scones.
They don't have an appreciable range of savoury vegetarian dishes, but that doesn't mean you won't find something delicious anyway - I have returned many times and still not tried all of the cakes. Each time the staff are friendly, the place is spotlessly clean and the food is fresh and delicious.
They employ real bakers and chefs, and the quality and freshness is top notch every time, not to mention the large variety of cakes and sweets.
I have never seen browning or dehydration on any of the fruit, and there are no mushy defrosted blueberries or strawberries for this establishment.
The prices reflect this - a bowl of fruit salad is $10 but they don't skimp on portion size and it (all) tastes as good as it looks.
Coffee is treated with respect in this place, as are the customers.

Absolutely recommended, 5/5 stars. Do yourself a favour.

Absolutely love coming hear for breakfast! The food is tasty and reasonably priced, and staff are always friendly.
