Smith Street Cafe

Nice cafe, very quick service and cheap. I had the brekkie wrap and a mocha. The coffee was not to hot. The wrap was delicious and fresh.

A little local gem! Amazing food! Gluten free friendly, love the Falafel&Haloumi Bowl. Nice and cosy atmosphere, great value too

This brekky quesadilla was delicious. I also enjoy the chai latte. The staff is so welcoming and kind. I’ll be back for sure!

I love this little cafe! The coffee is excellent, the food is delicious with big hearty portions and there’s always decadent sweets. It’s a surprise to find a cafe with exceptional customer service from all staff across multiple visits — it’s clear to me that a high level of service is part of the culture. Worth getting out of the city for this one.

Friendly staff. Cute small cafe with lots of plants. The food was really good. I had eggs bene with salmon, and partner had eggs your way, and we shared the granola which was delicious! Only issue was the table was a bit dirty and I got coffee stains on my shirt... but they came out when I spot cleaned it with soap. Was great as we were heading to port douglas from Cairns so really convenient location.

I’m vegetarian and the beautiful chef improvised a great avocado sandwich (with a lot of love and tasty ingredients in it) for me.

This tiny little breakfast nook on a side street off of route 1 offers some of the best breakfast items that I have ever had. Perhaps I was simply elated by the magic of Cairns itself, but the food, the coffee, with light house music, basking in the morning sun in the outdoor seating...it is just the best way to start the day.

Very nice staff member asked me if I was ok. I appreciated her speaking to me, and I felt much better. A nice relaxing cafe for breakfast. Thank you!

Coffee was 8/10 (which I think is as high as I experienced in Cairns) and the service and fitout was 10/10. Really nice little cafe and worth making the trek out of the CBD

Awesome cafe.

We sat down for a full breakfast and enjoyed the Benny and the breakfast quesadilla!

However lots of people just popped in for their $13.50 bacon and egg panini with coffee combo.

So impressed with this cafe. The food, service, prices, atmosphere. Only disappointment was not getting an opportunity to go back.
