Custom decorated birthday cake looked perfect and tasted delicious, it was so light and tasty. The lady in charge brought it to the table and was so loverly she even sung happy birthday! Highly recommended for a special birthday celebration.

A fantastic cafe in an historic building with awesome food and coffee. So many city dwellers just love tis place.

Arrived at 12:55 on Saturday, on Google it says they close at 14:00 but apparently they close at 13:00 during the weekend. Got two scones ($8) with jam & cream take away. It labelled homemade jam, the cream was ordinary cream not clotted cream. Scones were a bit small, but the texture was right. Chocolate custard horn was prefect, custard wasn’t too sweet, the outside was still crunchy not soaked, I highly recommend it! The atmosphere was great, the building itself was an old fire station, I love that they kept the red bricks and interior was very Japanesey!

What a lovely French patisserie with an Asian twist. The staff are all lovely, the food presentation exceptional, the taste was good, however, some needed more flavour, so without the dipping sauce, rather bland. Definitely would go back though, and just order something else, lots to choose from on the menu.

Excellent service, great coffee and delicious food. I've been coming here occasionally for the last 10 years and can't believe I haven't commented yet. The old Ambulance building always brings back fond memories of Cairns in the 80s. 😀🙏

A great deal of care is taken in this cafe. I had the salmon baguette and my friend had the gluten free frittata, both were very good. Coffee is strong. We also had a fruit Danish and a flourless chocolate cheesecake, and both were delicious. Although, it is not the easiest menu to avoid dairy. Details like quality crockery and quality local art from Canopy add greatly to the experience. Staff were friendly and hard working. I'd happily come back.

We love the soufflé pancakes. It was a long wait but they warned us when we ordered it. We were happy to wait for a yummy treat. We love their pastries too. Almond croissant is our favourite. They pride with good coffee and truly deserving. Good coffee, cold or hot. I like their Matcha latte too. Good strength. Thank you for delivering such quality and care. Yummy!

My favourite Cairns Cafe. The food is so delicious and fresh, and the staff are so friendly and lovely. A great Cafe for lunch, study, WFM, or coffee catch-ups.

Good fair pricing , lovely looking range of both sweet and savoury options.
Order arrived promptly , and maybe an error in communication but our cake arrived 3 times , had to be honest and refuse the 2 repeats , But it was a wonderful Cream Horn.
We certainly will be back .

The best croissant I’ve ever had! Flaky on the outside, pillowy soft on the inside. The jam was also on point, not too sweet. Servers are also great.

Beautiful spot for a relaxing brunch experience. Wanted an off menu item and the restaurant delivered without hesitation. Definitely recommend!

Ordered the apple turnover and a long black. Staff were friendly, premises were clean and tidy, and the coffee was excellent.

🥖 I haven't had a baguette like that since visiting Belgium years ago, so this was an unexpected treat for breakfast.
☕ Coffee was smooth and just what I needed.
🏙 The cafe set up is very cute, lots of space and it's shaded and breezy, and fenced off from the footpath.
💁 And the waitresses were very sweet and friendly.
💲 Maybe seems a little pricier than other options but 100% worth it!

Best food on goldcoast. Eggs Benedict were amazing. Coffee amazing. Bakery goods amazing. Do it! The Spanish omelette is out of this world
