Mr Grumpy's Cafe

Today was our first time in Mr Grumpy’s and I just can say we were happy to discover such an amazing spot. Plenty of choices of meals and the prices are great value for the size. Staff members are friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.

Awesome must-go to cafe if you're in the area. Nice location on the corner of Spaghetti Junction. Got plenty of space both inside and outside in terms of seating.

A great selection of options, including pastries up the front. Coffee is excellent and the Nutella late is great. Love the Eggs Benny and the Cranberry Turkey baguette was amazing and a good portion too.

Service was next level impressive, with the staff being kind and attentive. When settling the bill the staff lost our total amount, so when we recounted the items we ordered they comped a free pastry. Service above and beyond expectation.

This is a diamond in the rough. 2nd time here and love it! This time got the bacon and egg toastie. Big generous servings. Great coffee and great spot for kids as the back courtyard is enclosed. They also have a kids corner with books and coloring you can take to the table. Is our local favorite! Love your work!

Food was really good. Got the Rooster sandwich and it was so crispy and delicious. Wish there were some rocket greens too. The baguettes had large portions.

The decor was fun and there's a nice heated patio out back.

Great atmosphere and service in this cozy Cafe, despite how busy it was.

We tried the pork beni and sujuk and egg toasted sandwich and they were both absolutely delicious, with creative and distinct flavours very much unique to Mr Grumpy's.

We would definitely return to try out more menu items!

Been here twice now, first time was for my partners birthday. We didn’t realise there’s a courtyard area in the back, so looking forward to sitting there another time.

We had a green juice, breakfast burrito and porky pig toastie. The menu doesn’t have gluten-free labelled but there are plenty of gf options available if you ask. The service staff were fantastic and aware of celiac as well. The menu itself is flexible, instead of my hash brown on the side of my burrito, I got to have hash brown in the burrito.

The portion sizing is generous and staff were happy to give me a paper bag to take home the other half of my burrito.

Second time I went was a study date with a friend. We ordered a bowl of chips, we didn’t see it on the menu but asked if they had it available. It got really busy at lunch time and we felt bad taking up a table so we left a little earlier than we’d like. Still great service, the cafe was just a bit too bustling and busy for studying.

Can't believe we hadn't heard of this spot before - the breakfast was delicious! The breakfast burrito and open chilli eggs were super tasty and the servings were very generous. Chai latte was great too! They obviously put a lot of care into the taste and presentation of the food which is rare and a very special treat. What a fun space too. We'll be back!

So, the reviews aren't fake. This place is like an oasis of heavenly gourmet food.

You get 1.5x the serving size and 3x the deliciousness, all while paying roughly 10% less than anywhere else.

My 4 year old daughter and I came here for breakfast one morning after she spent a night at the hospital, and we both agreed that the cafe was so good, it was worth the hospital visit!

The only problem is that I live on the other side of the city! But eff it, I think I'm going to have to drive an hour just to come here every once in a while!

The ambience is great, they have tables available inside and outside as well. The food presentations are nice and well done, picturesque indeed! Of course, the food and coffee was all amazing!!!🤩

We really enjoyed everything about this cafe. A great escape for anyone needing some time away to have coffee, eat, have a chat or chill.
Conveniently located along a strip with plenty surrounding parking. Service was friendly and helpful. Food was absolutely delish (forgot to take a pic before we dived in!) and atmosphere was chill, with the option to dine inside or out and of course take away. We will be back with the rest of the family!

What a happening place, lots of people plus staff to cope with volumes. Service was prompt and pleasant, food came out in a quick turnaround. Food was well presented, very tasty. Definitely will be going back

If you are searching for a cafe experience that goes above and beyond, look no further than Mr. Grumpy’s cafe. This is my favourite cafe in the town. I love the whole experience in here, from the warm welcome to the last sip of their ice matcha is an absolute delight. Each dish is a work of art and their ice matcha is not your average matcha latte. It’s perfectly balanced with just the right amount of everything. Trust me once you try it, you’ll be hooked. Five stars all the way!

The reviews are all pretty spot on - this place is known for big portions and cheap prices in today’s economy. The pork Benedict was particularly huge with lots of tempura fries. Not a huge selection of brunch dishes but they have a wide variety of sandwiches, burgers and toasties instead which were all delicious. Coffee quality was also great. They do get quite busy and you may be seated outside but doesn’t take away the value of the experience. The service was quite slow to get the food out but understandably they were running off their feet with takeaway orders on a Sunday arvo. Would be back if in the area!

100% lived up to the reviews, searched for "best coffee near me" and this place came up.. absolutely spot on coffee, friendly staff and cool vibe.. I grabbed a tacke a way coffee with a sinckers bar.. however looking at the food coming from the kitchen I wish I had more time to sit and enjoy.. I will be making time next time I'm in the area.. fantastic jo, keep it up guys.

A friend introduced me to this little gem tucked in a off road near the Spaghetti Junction. As soon as you walk in you're greeted by amazing customer service. Staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The atmosphere is also really cool with a backyard chilled vibe. Especially sitting in the courtyard out the back (definitely recommend). Lastly the food is exceptional. Affordable and very generous servings. The breakfast baguette was probably the best I've had and the relish was amazing. Definitely recommend and will be to family and friends.

Great coffee shop. Food is nice with beautiful decorations. Coffee is smooth and tasty.

This is my husbands favourite cafe - we went here recently and discovered the outside eating area at the back.

We often order a Cappuccino to share - but ended up going for a second here because they are so good.

It has a super fun atmosphere, great brunch options and friendly staff.

They were really friendly to our 18m old also - saying hello, interacting with her and offering a high chair.

Would highly recommend going here!

Got the big bird and was absolutely 10/10, the staff are super friendly and the vibes are so good! My mate got the chilli scramble and he said it is the best he has eaten. Definitely recommend eating here!!!!!
