The Running Company - Lilydale

I had seen local runners rave about the service at The Running Company Lilydale, so when I ramped up my training I decided good enough wasn’t good enough. I went and seen Bec to find the optimal footwear for my goals. The process was great, the shoes are great and I’m running faster than ever. Thanks team. Couldn’t recommend any higher.

Ash spent as much time with me as needed to find the right shoe, and let me try on and walk around in a half dozen pairs that he suggested based on a treadmill running analysis.
He was extremely nice, accommodating and knowledgeable throughout.

I left with a shoe that feels really natural to run in and fits my particular foot and running style perfectly.

Can’t recommend this place enough.

Amazing experience with Mike, gave me lots of information as a new runner, and it never once felt like I was being pushed into buying the latest and greatest - some stores it always feels like they want you to buy the most pricey, but the options presented were tailored to me, my running habits, my skillset and my goals. Travelled especially to this store (1 hour away) and left feeling pretty stoked with the service and care I received.

It truly speaks for itself the number of highly rated reviews this place has, I genuinely believe every customer leaves this store feeling appreciated and cared for - no fluff, just genuine good souls who know their stuff!!

I’ve purchased a few pairs of shoes over the years and the service is always amazing. I had an issue with one pair that wore out prematurely and was easily able to exchange for a full credit - the benefit of going through a specialist store rather than just buying online. Highly recommend 🙌

My whole family love getting our shoes here. Absolute best fitting service I have ever had. We were unknowingly wearing the wrong shoes our whole lives until we were expertly fitted here and will never get shoes anywhere else again! Great service and great shoes.

First time at the store, and Mike was super helpful and knowledgeable. He answered all my questions and made the process of finding the right shoes really easy and enjoyable! I finally am wearing the right size and have a rotation of running shoes which I’m very happy with. highly recommend

This is the place to go for running shoes!! No doubt. Staff are so attentive, knowledgeable and patient. I’m so thrilled with my ASIC Kayano- perfect shoe, great choice. I’ll be going back in 600km for my next pair of shoes.

Regardless of where you’re at running wise, this is the place to go. Never been to a store with staff so attentive and knowledgeable of the varying products. Also being able to try out the different shoes on the treadmill, as well as have video footage taken to show form and how the shoes perform is something you just don’t get elsewhere. Couldn’t recommend any higher

The staff are really friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Just got back into running, and bought the same type of shoe that I use to wear, cheap online, but got a few niggles. Turns out my running style had changed and I was in the wrong type. It was great getting sound advice, being able to try different fits, and giving each a test run outside the store. It helped me pick the perfect shoe and size. The niggles have improved, and my feet are now really comfy. The price paid to be fitted properly far outweighed the saving, wasted money and physical discomfort from buying online. Lesson learned, I will be back to the Running Company for my next pair soon.

Bec, Steve and the TRC team are so knowledgeable in finding the right shoe for you. Whilst in store you get to use the treadmill and run outside to test the shoe which is invaluable. Whether you’re an everyday walker, distance runner to an elite professional they have a great range and amazing customer service. We highly recommend them to all our patients.

Incredible experience at TRC Lilydale, Grace is exceptional at her job! She helped me better understand my running style and then actually listened to feedback about each shoe we tried. Can honestly say that she absolutely nailed it, tweaking any and every minor detail I needed adjusted and made sure I found the perfect shoe. And boy oh boy these babies are smooth. Amazing work Grace and the rest of the crew!

The staff were fantastic and really worked with myself and my partner to find the shoe that was the best fit for us and the purpose we wanted it for. They asked about previous injuries and took this into consideration when choosing options for us to try and we couldn’t be happier with our choices. HOKA Bondi had been recommended to me by my ankle and foot surgeon after having plates put in my foot. I had tried everywhere to get the shoes but they had sold out. The staff at the Running Company used their connections and found a pair in my size and had them sent priority post to their store. This was the first time I had shopped at The Running Company at Lilydale and their service was fantastic.

Bec and Steve are so passionate about what they do, its hard not to get excited! Very generous with their time and information. Love love my new shoes and have loved getting them out on the trails! Ive been telling everyone I can to go to this store!

The staff are amazing and super helpful and supportive. I have only just started getting into running but they helped me choose a pair of shoes without pushing me in one direction, just waiting to see what I said about each pair.
