Best experience horse riding tour we’ve had! Absolute stunning views through the rainforest and onto the beach. Guides and horses were great! Highly recommend!

If you are in Cape Tribulation, definitely go for a Horse Ride. The tour takes 1,5 - 2 hours and is super relaxing in a beautiful location. Once you are at the beach, the guide will takes pictures of everyone for a great memory to look back. The horses walk slowly and are very well behaved, I always felt safe. Due to insurance reasons, they are not allowed to make the horses run etc, hence it will be a slow ride (just for the experienced riders to know).

Great team leading us through a walk amongst the trees before getting riding along the beach. Such a memorable experience. Highly recommended!

Absolutely magical experience - there is just something wonderful about riding a horse. Plus, horse riding on the beach, with clear blue skies made it even more special. The three guides were friendly, educational and helped take pictures of this special moment. The horses were well trained, followed everyone's instructions and perfect for beginner riders. We rode through the stable property, crossing roads (must have been quite a sight to the people driving cars), forest/mangroves and onto the beach, then back again - lasting 2 hours. Had a great afternoon!

Magical location! I am a beginner rider and was nervous prior to the ride but their was no need. Horses were well trained and we only walked. The team of three staff were so friendly and helpful and even took photos for us at the beach. Made us feel very comfortable. Our family of four all loved the 2 hour ride through the property, across the road, through the rainforest and along the beach at Cape Tribulation. We even road through the water. Great activity to do together and amazing part of the world! Highly recommend!

The horseback ride was great, Brooke and Jerry guided us well and explained a lot about horses, as well as the typical flora of the rainforest. We also got to go to the beach with the horses, which was amazing. Thanks for a great time, we'll be back!

What a great relaxing afternoon ride from rainforest to Cape Tribulation beach. Gerry was very loving to the horses & informative on flora & fauna throughout the rainforest. Brooke was so helpful taking photos along the ride and also backtracking after the ride in the ATV to find my prescription sunglasses. Thank you again 💓

This was an absolute highlight on our first trip to Cape Tribulation! The staff is super friendly, easygoing, flexible and understanding.
The horses are super friendly too! Just sometimes not between them but hey, they have feelings too!
The guides go above and beyond to make your ride tick all the boxes you’re expecting and would engage conversation to recommend you places within Cape Trib! Of course we’re coming back!

Did the morning beach ride with them and my wife, daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Wandered down several trails and did a short walk along the beach and into the ocean. They did a nice job of teaching us some things about the rain forest. I definitely recommend it if you enjoy trail rides.

I absolutely recommend a Cape Trib Horse Ride. Well loved horses, friendly and super knowledgeable guide (Gerry) and a beautiful location. A relaxing experience which I thoroughly enjoyed. Add it to your list of things to do in FNQ.

Loved this experience and would highly recommend it! It was my first time on a horse and my anxiety went away within the first couple of minutes. All the horses walk together calmly in a line and we were guided throughout the experience.

Fantastic, must to experience of the Daintree. We really enjoyed our tour. Being and inexperienced rider I felt really comfortable with the ride and the direction of the team. We even saw our first crocodile I the wild! The water rude on the beach was breathtaking.

The staff are absolutely amazing. We called them to say we were running late because of car trouble, and Steve came out in his car to pick us up. Jerry then took us out on the ride as the group had left, and was a wonderful guide who was incredibly knowledgeable about the flora and fauna. The horses were great to ride, and the beach was breathtaking. We loved our experience and would highly recommend this ride to anyone.

This was a tick off my bucket list. I was a bit unsure at first as I was worried about the cruelty to animals. However these horses are in beautiful condition and very calm and happy. They are ex race horses, so this was a big plus knowing they have been rescued and cared for so well. They are allowed to roam free in the paddock when not being used for the rides and this was a beautiful sight to see.
The staff are all so friendly and professional and each person was matched to a suitable horse based on ability and size. The horses are very well trained and understand commands. Even the most beginner rider will feel confident and in control.
We rode through beautiful rainforest and then onto the beach. The staff even took the time to take a few individual photos on everyone’s phone from different angles on the beach which is the perfect momento.

You are provided with a helmet, bumbag for phone and any other personal items you wish to bring and the saddle has a bag to store your water bottle.

Jon and I travelled from the UK to experience the rain forest and stunning beach of Cape Tribulation. What better way to see the local stunning scenery. Natalie, Steve & Karl were awesome. I rode Phoebe and Jon rode Clancy. An absolutely stunning ride which was accompanied by a comical commentary about the local area and of course the local celebrity princess fluffy who is a large crocodile who was spotted on the river banks. We mentioned that we were due to get Married in Port Douglas. On arrival back at our
accommodation they had delivered a gift of wine which was a fantastic surprise . Thank you all for being part of special memories made.

Totally enjoyed this unique experience riding through the Daintree Rainforest and out to the ocean along the local
beach for almost two hours.

We felt the two guides were in complete control of the horses and their ongoing monitored behaviours. Also had the the opportunity to trot through the forest under the close supervision which felt comfortable.
Safety was the utmost paramount for guides both horses and riders.

Horses were only 20cm in the water as clarity of the water further out was not visible for potential moving hazards.

Helmets and rainwear provided along with dry bags for your items to protect from rain. You should expect rain and potentially heavy rain 🌧 if you’re in the “rain forest”, as we witness a brief amount then the skies opened up.

My suggestion is to ignore those negative reviews and concentrate on the majority who tell you what you’ll get from your decision to choose this experience.

We were hesitant at first having not ridden a horse before but decided to go as it was a once in a lifetime thing we would do. SO HAPPY WE DID. Incredible experience. The horses were beautiful and well.looked after. The guides were fantastic and ensured we were comfortable the whole way through. The rainforest and beach were truly spectacular. It was our favourite part of the trip.
