Pier house on Bruny island is awesome !
We stayed two couples and our two kids and we had a great time / we loved the walk down to the jetty and the kids swam in the water and had a ball. We enjoyed the wildlife with wallabies and kookaburras and possums aplenty.
The location was nice and close to the Bruny winery and easy drive to everywhere we wanted to visit.
The house was well furnished and had quality appliances and we liked the coffee too!
Thanks for a great stay !
Highly recommend

We were so happy to stay at Pier House.
It was beautifully clean and the view was wonderful. A lot of thought has gone into the design and layout and the kitchen was well equipped and again very clean. We would definitely stay there again and recommend it to others

Rooms and property are clean. Beds are comfortable. Kitchen well equipped with the essentials for simple cooking, if the need arise.
Wild wallabies can be seen around the property from time to time. Property owner had some flyers for guests to see what kind of activities they want to participate in Bruny Island or guests can just laze around to enjoy the tranquility of the Pier House surroundings.
The internet is at times patchy but then again if an island getaway is to get away from the bustles of city life then internet is a bonus here 😜

Excellent is an understatement for the memory-making experience we had staying at the inviting Pier House with our friends. It wasn’t just the accommodation with its rustic charm and exceptional kitchen facilities including an awesome cafe-standard coffee machine. Nor was it just the magical location overlooking the inlet with its own private jetty. Or being so close to so many breathtaking sights and beaches and walks. What really topped it off was our awesome host Ben - he went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed and knew all the best places to go to. Ben’s wealth of information and stories about Bruny Island and his obvious passion for the place made our stay a truly memorable one. Thank you to Ben and the team for your terrific service. And a special shout out to Dippa and his beautiful family too for their wonderful generosity and hospitality on our first night.

We just stayed at The Pier House Bruny Island - it was amazing
We loved looking out to water views everyday, reading by the fire, eating oysters, watching seals and nature at its best ..... Ben was fabulous to deal with. See you again soon ...

We booked for 3 nights at the pier house as there was no other better accomodation. This house is old with a mix of musty and body odour smell throughout. So we opened all windows and doors, which introduced another problem of flies and mosquitoes as the doors and windows do not all have fly screens. We also had ants problems in the bathroom. The bathroom is particularly bad, looks like 1950s bathroom, needs renovation badly. Furniture is dated, and tired. We only stayed the two nights. Will not be back.
