Great place for a group trip - you get your own private beach with oysters aplenty, along with comfortable rooms (the privacy of the bunk bed rooms was a nice surprise). Operations Manager Ben took exceptional care of us all weekend and it was a trip I’ll never forget.
Highly recommend - you’ll be taken care of and have everything you need!

Excellent place for an extended group gathering. Ben was fantastic to deal with and has thought of everything in terms of furnishings and equipment. So comfy. The coffee machine was great, our celebration lunch went well and the ice machine is a brilliant idea! (We may have ‘donated’ about 50 golf balls to the surrounding scrub though)

The lodge is a beautiful place to stay. The surrounding bush creates a very peaceful and restful mood.
The bunks are larger than a normal single, and fitted with very comfortable linens. A shelf with a power point near each bed was extremely convenient for charging phones and keeping personal items organised.
The wood fires do a wonderful job of keeping the lodge warm, we were never cold!

Stayed here with my family and some friends and their kids, 12 of us in all and the place was perfect with plenty of room for all of us to sleep in true comfort. The views over the bay in the daytime were unbelievable and the Milky Way at night was spectacular. So much to do, loved the kayaking and the snorkelling (saw some stunning fish) and just walking along the many tracks through the beautiful scenery. The kids loved seeing wallabies bouncing through the bush! All in all, an unforgettable holiday, we all loved every minute of it. We'd love to come back.

I stayed here with a group of friends over summer and absolutely loved it. The accommodation was fantastic and host very very helpful. The lodge is a great balance between being in the beautiful Tasmanian elements and 5 star comfort full of character. We even made friends with a local fisherman who took us out to the lagoon where we caught a bucket load of flat-head and then surfing the next day! I highly recommend the Bruny Island lodge. I like seeking a getaway of a different kind and this was certainly one of them.

The Bruny Island Lodge is a magical place. Set in a native forest clearing, it served as a classical retreat venue, water views, incredible infrastructure given where it is, which can accommodate reasonably large numbers while providing a quality experience. The water is nearby, the night skies are fantastic. The fireplace and games areas provided very useful spaces for smaller groups to gather and commune. I'd happily return.

The service, accommodation and atmosphere at Bruny Island Lodge is impeccable and breathtaking. The beds are comfortable with sufficient clean and first rate amenities. This is the retreat to go to. If you want to curl up in front of the fire you have multiple choices of rooms and very comfortable chairs. If games are your thing you have a choice there too from air hockey to board and arcade style games. Iff you want to be with nature you have a whole property to roam as.if it's your own paradise. Pick your own oysters from the sea and have them prepared for dinner. What a place. Very Highly recommended.

We hosted our Embodied Woman Retreat at the lodge and found it spectacular in every way. From connection to nature, to cosy beds, to the indoor wood fires and nights out under the stars, it was the perfect place for us to connect and sink in as a group.

Came here with a group of friends and we all had a great time! Tons of activities to do - mountain biking, hiking, surfing, kayaking, snorkeling, fishing. And for those in our group who came for relax-time, this was a perfect setting - a quiet beautiful landscape on Mickeys Bay with comfortable accommodations. Amazing gateway and I would definitely come again!

Came here with my wife and kids, and let me just say we were all blown away with our stay. Not only is the accommodation and facilities comparable to a 5 star getaway but the rugged Bruny Island landscape and coastline is something to see and nowhere better to experience it than here. The locals are really great to talk to and are very insightful. Perfect getaway for both adults and kids. The only one negative is the place doesn't have blinds, so it forces you up early for another full day of fun filled adventures.
