North Lakes Car Wash

I went through the self-serve car wash. I found it reasonably priced. It had high pressure water with two different waxes (splatter and high pressure wax). I was able to comfortably clean my car for $7.

Awesome facility, good price and the spray guns feel like they do a lot better than other car washes in the area, we used to go to one In Rothwell but make the extra drive here now.

A competitive industry it is in North Brisbane, and there’s no shortage of places to wash your car in Moreton Bay- but here’s why Sparkletown is separated from the rest:

- Staff Presence
You can always find someone who works here walking about and working. I frequently see what looks like the owner and his manager walking about the place, tidying up and fixing equipment

- “Turbo” Vaccum
Finally…… a car wash that has a powerful vaccum. In addition to the normal powered vacuum; which actually goes quite well, there is an option to toggle “Turbo” on and off, consequently increasing suction (by at least another half)

- Payment method
You can select how much you’d like to pay; which I believe starts at $3 lots and goes up in small increments therafter. I appreciate this because you aren’t required to preauthorise $10 right away, you can select the $6 option, and if you’re a giver, get you’re entire car done with just that.

- A little bit extra.
Finally (and the reason for todays review), today I washed my wife’s car and forgot my car wash kit which include the Shammy. I asked the one of the team members if I could borrow a Shammy and while he didn’t have a Shammy free, he gave me a microfibre cloth for free- and said to keep it.
Probably a rather small gesture for him, but a bloody gamechanger for me. It meant that I could wipe the water off my car to the degree that it wasn’t left watermarked- and the wash wasted. Very surprised, and very thankful.

Once again, heaps of solid car washes about, but this one is a beauty and has everything you’ll need at the most competitive price I have found.

Great product used to clean your car, one of the best car washes north side of Brisbane, can be busy on Saturday and Sundays between 8am and 2pm, very helpful staff on site 7 days a week to assit with any questions or concerns, dog was facility can also be busy on Sundays. Open 24hrs 7 days a week coin operated as well as credit/debit/pay via phone operated. Vending machine and coin machine on site

Last week I lost $20 in the change machine. Contacted Sparkletown and got an email apologizing for the inconvenience. They checked the security footage and reimbursed me for the $20 and also gave me a free token for a future dogwash. It is always wonderful when you get great service. Thanks Clinton for a great result.

They give you value for money... lots of bubbles and time... please don't go changing!

It was fine easy payment process. However I was expecting a bit more of waxing spray.

Convenient... we even managed to wash our fishing boat and trailer

Awesome car wash! the hoses are light easy to move, yet very powerful. The bays are always clean and ready to use plus the Cheapest car wash around😁

No touch car wash, does a good job, somewhat expensive.

This place is really clean. I usually go to Spin but this place is much better. I used the self serve bay here and compared to Spin, here the hoses weren't leaking, the VPOS terminal didn't have a surcharge and I'm pretty sure the machine gave more time than Spin for the same price (and with no surcharge). Also the vacuum area has a fragrance machine with three scents. I can't find those machines anywhere.

Great car wash! Have only used self service so far and I can say that it’s the best in the area by far. Good vibes - love the decor, and always playing bangers to jam out to while washing. Easy to use machines with card payments and payWave.

Great friendly service, our car was pretty dirty after driving up from Melbourne so after using the auto washer the friendly staff offered to give us extra hand washing and scrubbing to ensure we left with a clean car! Thanks team 🙂

Self-service wash had great water pressure and a good amount of soap. Most impressively, the spot-free rinse gave a generous amount of water so I could actually get a spot-free finish!

Love this place, will always go here. All the staff (especially the lady) are always very helpful and friendly. Even helping me get a refund for a little eftpos error one time which was so nice!

The average timer time is realistic.
Variety of options for washing.
Easy to do eftpos payment or coins.

One of the best value self serve carwashes I've used. $10 gets you 15 minutes of wash time.

Great for car and dog nice and clean

The new management of North Lakes Carwash have turned this place around. I use this place for the car wash, dog wash and I wash and flush my boat here. It's gone from being the worst to the best car wash on the North side. Shows what good management and commitment can do..

Great facility. The auto wash gave a first class clean. The wheel blasters and under body wash on entry are a welcomed touch. Staff were really friendly and went above and beyond to help out.
