Atherton Aquatic Centre

This aquatic Centre is exactly what I was looking for. They have a 50 metre pool for serious lap swimmers and an indoor 25 metre set aside with 2 lanes for laps and walking, a big area for therapy, aerobic, children classes/lessons. Great staff.

What a delight to find outdoor heated pools open 7 days/week all year round! Clean facilities, spacious grounds, a 50 m outdoor pool (26°C), a 25 m indoor pool (28°C) and a toddlers paddling pool. Not forgetting the friendly staff and a coffee after a swim and a hot shower. Wonderful!

I drive from Malanda to Atherton weekly to attend aqua-physio in the undercover heated pool, which is open to the public daily. Always clean and the staff are friendly.

This is the best (and only) swimming pool in Atherton. The staff are friendly, the facilities are good and it is a great place to go for a swim. They do a great job in hosting swimming carnivals for the local schools as well as teaching kids how to swim.

Great facility for a town of this size. Heated indoor 25 m pool perfect for infants. Outdoor 50m pool perfect for lap swimming. Clean facilities and friendly staff. Would be proud to have this in town.

The learn to swim teacher, Marie Kirk, is second to none. Her level of care for her "tadpoles", has me more then impressed. She is firm but fair, a real old school grandmother type. I've been a swimmer all my life, and the techniques she uses makes both child and parent feel confident and comfortable that by the time Marie has finished with them, not only will they be swimming, they will have a love for it.

I brought my 5 month old. While there, some of the training instructors walked passed and stopped to give me helpful tips on how to get her used to swimming, which I am grateful for. The ladies bathroom also had a dedicated area for changing babies with a bench, changing mat and nappy bins. There's also a heater on the wall that can be used while changing little ones so they don't get cold.

Nice clean pool.. Nice women to chat with and have a coffee with after a few laps. Nice helpful and friendly staff helped me choose goggles for my face shape and made sure they fitted me before I bought them. Waaaay better than guessing 😀

Lovely pool. Clean amenities. I'm from Wollongong, I went to do my laps for exercise and the staff were very friendly. The price is reasonable too. Thanks I'll be back this week a few times.

Easily has the nicest 50m pool on the Atherton Tablelands, a quaint complex, with clean facilities and welcoming staff.

Staff are awesome. And really cheap prices for 20 swims
