Had an amazing time at the club today, meeting people and learning proper ways to cut stones, I'll definitely be back to learn more and join up with a membership, it was great to get an identification on a couple of rocks, Thank you so much for your warm welcome.

The Gem club are just so great with children and people with a disability, kind and friendly. A good old Gem fossick is so much fun.

We went to the gem show today after hearing about it in the Brisbane City Council newsletter. After exploring the stalls, one club member Pete recommended we poke our head into the club house. On entry, we were warmly greeted by Donna and Sandy. Donna then took us for an amazing tour of the workshop and unleashed the curiosity in my 10yo son Jimmy. The real gems here are the people like Donna and Sandy who display such generous community spirit. 🥳

I had the pleasure of attending the Redcliffe Gem Show last month, and boy was I impressed! So many knowledgeable members and fairly priced stones.

Nice gem show and great facilities to learn lapidary. Reasonably priced for use of the facilities will look into starting it again after a 34 year hiatus.

Highly recommend. My son is interested in working in the jewellery industry but is too young to be considered for work in a jewellery store. The Redcliffe Lapidary Club is the perfect place for him to learn about gems, with equipment that we could never afford and decades of experience from patient volunteers. It is exceptionally affordable and the morning teas are pretty amazing.

Had a citrine gemstone of sentimental value that I was hoping to salvage after an incident but unfortunately fate would not allow it. That said the gentlemen that were there were extremely knowledgeable and were able to help me with this quest. I thank you all for your help. If you need to know something with regards to gems, these people know their stuff.

This is a great little 'gem' hiding in the little 'burb of Clontarf. Well established with plenty space and machinery to keep you well occupied. They also have a jewellery fabrication area. polish your favourite stone you found and pop it into the silver or gold ring or brooch you just made... nice ol' folk there keen to put a smile on your face. And they're about to expand to facilitate more machinery space. A really fantastic venue with a healthy dose of feel-good!

I LOVE going to gem club. I only wish I had found it years ago. The people are lovely with so much experience in jewellery making, stone cutting and gem faceting.
