Capitol Regent

We enjoyed a lovely meal together. I had the capital regent special & wife had sweet & sour fish & fried rice. The meal was cooked perfectly. Served with a smile and laugh over hearts on a moscata wine bottle. It Tasted amazing & the fried rice was cooked to perfection. Fish pieces were a little big but the flavour was amazing. I will definitely be on my return to list. Well done capital Regent.

I dined at the Capitol Regent tonight. The service was exceptional, with dozens of questions from myself and my friends the waitress came well prepared to answer every single one with detail and precision. Wonderful food, friendly staff and relaxing atmosphere

We asked a local where was good Chinese and was recommended Capitol Regent.
We arrived without a reservation and was seated. We ordered the Ham & Chicken roll for entrée as I always loved it as a kid. Was large and very nice. Then got the Special Combination Fried rice with plenty of meat and prawns so that was nice. The Mongolian Lamb came out sizzling and was very flavoursome. We also got the Capitol Regent Special which was a combo of meat and veg and was nice, though a tad too much broccoli. I got the Fried Ice cream with Profiterole and the ice cream was quite large. The service was good and fast and the food very good. Good value for money so we will be back next time we visit Townsville.

Had the lunch special, chicken Szechwan with fried rice.
If any establishment deserves the accolade of serving 'a succulent Chinese meal', it is this place.
Definitely would recommend.

As someone who really loves their meat, I was very satisfied with this restaurant. There was meat everywhere! Meat in the dumplings, meat in the Chow Mein, there was even meat in the vegetarian meals! You gotta respect a restaurant that is consistent! 5/5 would eat meat there again.

I love the Capitol, its the best Chinese in Townsville. I highly recommend the sizzling honey and pepper chicken and scallops, once you try it you won't go past it!

Aitkenvale Capitol Regent is my favourite Chinese restaurant I buy dinner from there at least once a week. Great food Great service.
