BIG W Townsville

I went there for two reasons. To return a faulty clock . That I had bought at Castletown Big W. The girl was very pleasant and said it was no trouble at all. And refunded it to my card. So thst wad my first pleasant experience. The second one was that I was looking for a 3 tiered plant stand. Castletown was sold out. Then I looked on line and it said big W aitkenvale had them in stock! So I thought while I was there I would take the faulty clock back. And when I looked at gardening, I coulent find any. Then I saw a lady that worked there and I asked her about them. No I cant see any. I told her i had looked online and that you had them in stock. So she looked further and said they had a pallet full of them. She said she would look if she could get some . If they were still wrapped in plastic she wouldnt be able to get them. But she came back with a big smile and asked me how many I wanted as they were on special at half price. So I bought two. The lady said thank you for buying these, I am going to buy one too. So we had a laugh. She had bought two from the back. So she was very helpful and made me smile. Plus they were on special. So I had two happy experiences with two good outcomes. That was a very special trip for me. Thank you.

I've never been to big W as organized as this one. This is the best Big W I ever been, spacious clean and staff are friendly.

Stock of most items were low but service of staff were excellent, whether asking information about the TVs or at the checkout counter.

Large variety of products and reasonable prices and specials

Got all I needed and at the prices I wanted .but you need more bigger sizes in polo shirts with pockets and and no split on the hem . But no change. Had hard time finding our present but got it in the end

Great stock available even at christmas rush, crazy busy in store & staff are run off feet but still happy & helpful... No trolleys or store baskets left so take your own cart etc just in case while its "crazy christmas"

Its everything you'd expect from a Big W in a major shopping centre. The staff are always helpful and friendly and the shop cleanliness was great.
