By far the best restaurant I've been to here in the past 9 months in Australia.
The food is beyond incredible, and that at a fair price point.
I had the carbonara, and it was easily one of the best I've ever had, I was so happy to find out that they make it the authentic Italian way!
The Calzone as a starter from the specials was very good too and the Tiramisu was to die for!! Truly the best I've had in ages.
We will definitely come back, couldn't be happier!!

Celebration dinner for 2 that was brilliant.

Indoor seating (thank goodness as it was a steamy hot night).

The service, from being greeted at the door to paying the bill was excellent.

All meals from entrees to dessert were a good portion, flavourful and fresh. (6 meals and all a thumbs up).

Also props to the bartender who knows how to make a bloody good martini and old fashioned.

The romantic dimly-lit mellow music vibe you expect from a popular Italian restaurant hidden deep in the backstreets of Holland Park. Service is exceptional and makes it hard to leave. I couldn't choose my favourite between the fresh cheese stuffed figs wrapped in crispy proscuitto with a balsamic dressing or the soft pillows of gnocci with Italian sausage in a creamy heart-warming tomato capsicum sauce. There was a lot of flavour going on in each mouthful. I highly recommend this restaurant for a family or romantic dinner, and I only wish I'd made the effort sooner. Don't let the winter months put you off either, as they offer a blanket for alfresco dining. It's time for me to tuck myself in with Netflix and their delicate Paninni's tiramisu, but not before I've worked out which Pannini's pizza I'll be ordering tomorrow night. 😋

Came here for an early Christmas dinner with my children. Casual setting but the food is really good. Pizza’s are nice and I had the special which was Veal and duck fat roasted potatoes. Desserts were nice too with Mitella doughnuts, Tiramisu and Crème Brûlée. Crème Brûlée would be my pick for dessert.

Amazing food spot for great Italian food. The chicken and pumpkin pizza was fantastic and calamari was very fresh and the limoncello spritz was very refreshing. Our reservation on arrival we were told had been cancelled but they still accommodated us on a Friday night for a table of four.

I’ve been to Paninni’s many times and I always thoroughly enjoy eating my way through their menu. The refurbishment has made the place feel EVEN more fancy yet still cosy, tucked away in the suburbs. Everytime I’ve ordered and tried has always been delicious and the service is great! Everyone is so kind :) definitely our local Italian go to!

Best pizza in the southside. Dough crust was crazy soft. Everything else was delicious too.

Really nice pizza and pasta place in the suburbs. The selection of drinks and wines is also really good. Woodfired pizzas have great flavours!

I had the pleasure of celebrating my 65th birthday with family here. Our whole family including the little ones were made welcome from the moment we arrived till the time we departed. Service was extremely good and the food was excellent. A combination of the recommended special starters, pizzas and mains were enjoyed by all. Paninni's will now be our go to for Italian fair. Please do yourself a favour and try this place out, I guarantee you'll be pleasantly surprised.

A hidden gem indeed! The food were delicious; the pizza was good but my family enjoyed the entrees and pasta the most. Service was very friendly and accomodating; because we were a large table that sat outside, they offered us another heater. We really enjoyed our time there, definitely will be coming back!

We came here for our nieces 18th Birthday tonight. We arrived way too early, however we were cheerfully taken to our table. Asked if we needed drinks? We ordered espressos and a bottle of water came too. Staff and Manager were super friendly, couldn't be more helpful. A bit of a chilly night outs, but a heater was placed next to us and blankets on the chairs. Food was absolutely delicious, generous portions, plenty of everything. Risotto was divine, pizzas were great, pasta was perfect. Germano our main waiter, was friendly, efficient and attentive. The 8 of us loved the warm, funny demeanour, perfect for a family birthday gathering of 8. We brought a cake and it was happily looked after and served. Honestly one of the best nights we've had out.
We'll be back. Thank you Matteo, Germano and all the staff for a wonderful night.

Was recommended to Panini’s by 3 ppl on separate individuals, and was def curious to try them out.

The establishment is set in suburbia which makes it an excellent location.

From the moment we were greeted to the moment we left, we experienced friendly and warm service. Food was great, ambience and the general vibe was very pleasant.

Special thanks to the hard working staff in the kitchen, Hannah and Luca.

Dined in with my partner and little dog tonight on the 22nd of April. The staff were absolutely lovely, welcoming and chit chatty. Our dishes were delicious and my partner loved the bolognese sauce in his pasta. The tiramisu was creamy, sweet but not overly, moist, and just perfect.

Thank you for making us feel so welcome at your restaurant. Our little doggy was so spoiled with pats and treats. 3 very full and happy amigos.

We will definitely come back and recommend this little hidden gem. Love the renovations.

Came for a birthday lunch on a hot day. Lovely air-conditioning inside and a kind and accommodating waitperson who covered over our mispronunciations smoothly! Food was delicious and the pizzas were perfectly cooked! We enjoyed our time and would come again.
