My day off must visit place! This is a coffee shop that I will constantly come in my day off. And this coffee shop has changed my mind about Long Black. Since I had tried Long Black in different places and try to accept turning my habit with milky coffee into long black. However, the Long Black in other places are really sour and bitter at the end of my tongue. I gave up on trying Long Black for a while. But this place pick my long black up and made me accept it! It was first and ever💕
Good job! And the staff are also nice, having coffee in their shop you can actually see how the effort behind making a coffee! Great experience!

Amazing coffee! We purchased a great coffee machine for our office recently and had the pleasure of doing in-house barista training with White Whale. Very knowledgeable and provided lots of tips and tricks for making a delicious coffee for our staff and clients. Thank you, highly recommend!

Black Tasting Board is amazing!!! I got 3 different beans: Riptide, Carpenter's and Stone Hammer. My fav is Riptide. All 3 espresso shots are smooth, not burnt and can finish it easily.

When I work in Cairns I literally start everyday with my Uber dropping me off to the White Whale - love this place, the coffee, the staff and atmosphere are fantastic...... I like the merch too.... 10 starts if I could...

Great food and the best coffee in Cairns. Can you believe it is possible to sit down, relax and actually not realise where you are, there are no amazing views looking over the water or into the green hill slopes of the city, yet you are motivated to sit, relax and enjoy the ambiance, this small industrial like cafe has to offer. love this place!

One of the BEST coffee shops (and coffee beans in Cairns). We've never had a bad coffee here, or at their sister store 'Teddy' in Edge Hill. Owners are lovely; staff are skilled in the art of making coffee; and customer service is always excellent. But the best thing about White Whale are the amazing environmental initiatives they support, that align strongly with their values to make a positive difference to people, communities and our environment. The best coffee in the world? Pretty bold statement, especially given the industrial out off town location this might be surprising. And especially given how much coffee I have drank in my life! But true , it is #amazing, all the staff are super dedicated And friendly, but it's all about the coffee!! The very best when bought in but making at home the results are spectacular. The coffee itself it just outstanding. If you like coffee and are in Cairns it's totally worth the trip. When are you opening in Melbourne?

Always welcoming and knowledgeable staff at this slightly out of the city coffee haven. Absolutely worth many a visit, it has spacious inside and outdoor seating, should you have the time to relax. Anyone appreciating quality coffee will feel right at home here. Several origin specials plus barista blends which change quite regularly.

I order my beans via their app which I find easy to use.

The quality of their coffee has also converted my chronically uncaffeinated wife to enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning .
