# 3 Chicken Don with egg is simply amazing. Succulent chicken, braised onions with a scrambled egg on top. Juicy, juicy goodness. Reminds me of an old #26 from a classic Japanese restaurant in Cairns that no longer exists. The service was also top notch and super friendly.

It seems like all the food in this Lantern Lane is great.
The donburi here is very affordable. The portion is good for lunch.
The place is very popular but at the same time I didn't need to wait for long.

Food is great, the teriyaki and chicken karaage rice bowls are soo good. Chef is very friendly. Good prices and quick service.

I had the fresh salmon and tuna mix on rice which they topped with ginger.
It was so divinely delicious! Cute ambience to dine as well. A new favourite!

Easily one of the best Japanese restaurants in Cairns, beautifully prepared and delicious with a clean kitchen and lovely venue, owners are hospitable and lovely. Would recommend the salmon bowl or crispy chicken bowls (the chicken one has a hidden egg) especially, keep up the great work.

Delicious japanese food, great pricing and smiling staff (the owners speak Japanese too) the tables to eat in are always clean. Have been going here for a while now and it's great everytime no matter the meal. I recommend this place to everyone in the area

The pinnacle of Japanese food in Cairns. The chef smiles and thanks you everytime. They are very hospitable couple, the venue has a lovely aesthetic. The food is amazing and for the size of the kitchen. They are fast, efficient and consistent. Keep up the good stuff.

By far the best Japanese restaurant I have ever been to. Every meal I have had so far has been delicious, the prices are reasonable and the couple that runs the restaurant are lovely, welcoming and friendly. My go-to place when I want any type of Asian food.

My go-to place for work lunches. Consistently good quality Japanese essentials. Easily the best sushi in Earlville, although only at lunch time and you have to be quick. If you can't decide, resist just ordering "chicken and rice" as that usually results in sighs and stares :p

Janice had salmon on rice and me pork with kimchi. The best and tastiest meals we had in Cairns. Wi dined in at take away prices and hosts were so hospitable and acommodating.
I wish I dined there every evening we were in Cairns.
