Cute little spot, plenty of seating indoors and out. I didn’t see how to order so I ordered the counter but if you’re dining in just sit down and they’ll take your order quickly. Awesome array of fresh food, sandwiches to order. Decent coffee. I had the smashed avocado minus feta, needed a little salt but still delicious. Charming little spot right near bus stops, a little noisy if you’re seated outside but still good. Wish I was a little later so I could enjoy the lunch options.

Wish I knew of this cafe earlier, ticked all the boxes for me. Coffee, amazing. Brekkie, amazing. Service and ambience, amazing. There’s nothing not to like about this place, will definitely be back for more.

Five stars all round for this hidden gem of a sandwich bar and salads. Over from UK and this place worthy of a return visit. The manager Mark is a credit to Nook

One the best breakfasts in the city. Love the Halloumi stack (add bacon). The staff are lovely the food is great. The coffee is spot on (Almond Flat). The only downside is if you sit near the street the buses can be loud. I try and schedule brekky meetings here. Would highly recommend.

They make a tasty egg and bacon roll and a pretty decent coffee. A great place for a morning team get together

Staying next door at The Little National and it’s right across the road. Stumbled upon it on my way to another cafe but decided to go here, best decision! Update: went back every morning 4 days in a row!

$12 gets you a phenomenal bacon and egg sandwich and coffee of your choice. Not to mention gluten free bread and an extra espresso shot anddd oat milk…fantastic price.

Bacon and egg had two eggs in it, loads of bacon, rocket, and a relish + Mayo. Most places serve a sad single egg and bacon so the bar has been set here!!

The quinoa Porridge is a must try, the most beautiful presentation ever. They had dried figs, berries, roasted coconut, and even made it with macadamia milk for me. ($14 combo with a coffee).

Also yummy açai smoothie!

Nook is my trusty go-to local cafe for lunch and coffee catch-ups with work colleagues and business contacts. Most recently, I hosted a team lunch with 15 people at Nook. The Nook team were super helpful arranging pre-ordering and speedy food delivery to our table. They have an extensive menu full of delicious meal and drinks options and are great at catering for dietary requirements, specifically gluten free, lactose free and nut free. I'll definitely be back in the new year!

Lady managing customers outside is super friendly 😊. We had breakfast here. Egg and bacon with tomato relish was tasty. Coffee and tea was great as well. Staff at the counter were friendly. Great cafe to stop by on the go.

Lovely gem of a restaurant in the city, right next to Wynyard station. The coffee is sublime and the beef ragu is TO DIE FOR! There is a lovely selection of fresh made salads daily too.

I had a lentil vegan halloumi salad that was delightful.
They also have a good range of salads for lunch, I’m sure won’t leave there disappointed.

Good for a quick bite to eat in the morning. Has fairly large portions of food. Up the place has a homely feel to it, where the staff recognizes the regulars and already knows what they are going to order. They have great fresh made juices and coffee.

Breakfast quesadilla was tasty and very filling! Be warned it has corriander in it which wasn't listed on the menu for those who are averse to the herb. Long black was really good, overall very happy with the experience!

I was looking for a cafe and was recommended to come here by the hotel I was staying in. I originally was just going to get a coffee, but I ended up getting the breakfast bowl which was surprisingly so tasty for something really healthy. The pumpkin purée, chickpeas, eggs and edamame seemed to mask the flavour from the kale. I’m so happy I found this place as it’s just across the road from The Little National. Now, I’ve found a place to have a lovely breakfast before heading into work in Sydney.

Had lunch here with my a friend of mine, and I ordered spicy chicken sandwich with whole meal bread and a large latte. It was so scrumptious, especially the chicken which is moist, tender and juicy! Will come back again

A must go to cafe spot! Nook provides a great variety of options, fresh ingredients and super tasty food. The customer service is always excellent. Mark is outstanding, he’s super friendly and helpful with any questions. I recently placed a large catering order for a 2 day event. It was a great success and everyone at the event loved the food. Mark ensured all diet requirements taken care of and he was on stand by for any last minute changes that were needed. I would highly recommend Nook Clarence St and will definitely be back!
