We had a great stay. The pool is possibly the best one we've used on our lap so far. Its dog friendly and the facilities we use was great. Had unisex bathroom pods with toilet etc all in one. These are best kind of facilities when travelling for us as a family.

This is a true oasis in the desert, and definitely has the best pool in town. The managers are awesome... friendly, helpful and this place is kept in great shape. Our family of 2 adults, 2 kids and a dog have had a great time despite the 40+deg heat. Facilities are good, including good quality washing machines.

Been to CP a few times and this is the best place to stay. Family of five loved the clean spacious quality apartment with very comfy beds and everything we needed. Best sleep we’ve had in weeks. Loved the unique outlook and the pool was great. Friendly staff. Big thumbs up!!

Lovely welcoming manager in the office, it’s off peak time somwe could park anywhere, great powered sites a few under shade cloth which was welcoming in the February heat. Amenities very clean, great camp kitchen and amazing pool. An absolute oasis in the dessert.

I cannot recommend this place enough.  I was welcomed by Jodie who was friendly and professional.  To sum up I would say, safe, clean and friendly. I stayed in a unit and i cannot fault it.
Having travelled numerous times through Coober Pedy I would say the Big 4 is the one place where you can feel safe. Located a few hundred metres from the big blower it easy to duck out and get an iconic sunset photo (as i did, see attached).
I accidentally left a few items in my unit, it was wonderful that Jodie was able to post them on for me with a minimum of fuss.
Once again thanks to Jodie and her team for making my stay so wonderful.

We stayed in Big 4 Cooper Pedy on the 4th - 7th December 2023 and although we went during a huge heat wave the help from Kelly and Marty the New Managers was incredible. They helped ensure we had a good site, helped us when we had caravan problems and went out of their way to ensure we had everything we needed. The new management team are wonderful people and I think this Big4 will just get better with their guidance. Thanks again for all your help during our stay. PS: the pool here is AWESOME!!! the photos do not do it justice! we spent many hours in there.

WhT a place. Friendly and great food. There's a bar restaurant, pool, cabins, powered sites or nonpowered sites. Camel 🐫 farm and small emu enclosure. Souvenirs and very yummy 😋 coffee ☕. They also have a resident python um behind glass thank goodness. There's plenty of out door 🚪 seating 💺 and BBQ. For a roadhouse this has lots to enjoy if you are passing or staying. You need to stop here for a visit if you are heading north up the Stuart highway or south. Plenty of parking aswell. I'm sure you will like your stop over.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at the Big 4 Caravan Park in Coober Pedy and cannot express enough gratitude towards Jodie and Graham for their outstanding assistance. Our trip took an unexpected turn when we encountered car trouble, leaving us feeling stranded and stressed. However, Jodie and Graham immediately came to our rescue, going above and beyond to ensure our comfort and safety.

From the moment we arrived at their park, Jodie and Graham exhibited exceptional hospitality and genuine concern for our situation. They promptly arranged alternative accommodation for us while our car was being repaired, easing our worries considerably. The accommodation they provided was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped, making our unexpected stay much more manageable.

But it wasn't just the practical assistance that made our experience exceptional. Jodie and Graham took the time to listen to our concerns, offering reassurance and support throughout the entire ordeal. Their warm and friendly demeanor helped alleviate our stress, turning what could have been a nightmare into a much more positive and memorable experience.

In addition to their unwavering support, Jodie and Graham also shared their extensive knowledge of the local area, providing us with invaluable recommendations for nearby attractions and dining options. Their insider tips truly enhanced our stay in Coober Pedy.

We would wholeheartedly recommend the Big 4 Caravan Park to anyone passing through Coober Pedy, not just for its excellent facilities but primarily for the exceptional customer service provided by Jodie and Graham. Their kindness and willingness to go the extra mile made a significant difference during a challenging time for us.

Our heartfelt thanks go out to Jodie and Graham for their outstanding care and support. They are a true asset to the Big 4 Caravan Park and embody the spirit of hospitality. We are incredibly grateful and will definitely return whenever we have the opportunity.

Nice motel rooms, parking close to the unit, the second "bed" in the motel rooms is a soda bed. The other is a king size bed. Washing machine in the room, though no dryer, so you still have to walk to the laundry if you need it. Full kitchen with stove, microwave, dishwasher, etc. A nice place to stay and friendly owners. They have a pool that's heated in winter too.

We were here in November 2022, we really liked the lay out of the park. Good play ground facilities for the kids - pool was awesome. It was really hot when we were here. Good location right at the entrance of the town. Power and water hook ups.

5 Stars for this Park. From the moment we checked in the staff were amazing. The Office Manager was so polite and informative about local knowledge and the Manager Groundsman showed us to our site and even kindly assisted us with the washing machines.
The whole Park is spotless. Would definitely recommend this Park and couldn’t fault the Managers and staff. Will tell all friends about this place.

Lovely clean room. Great facilities.
ADD ON - we stayed a second time on the way home. Room was more expensive but older and not very clean. Both stays I’ve used my own kettle and frying pan as the ones in the room weren’t crash hot. (Just boil water with a bit of supermarket lemon juice in your kettles and they’ll look brand new 😊)

We arrived at the park with a smashed vent cover after an unfortunate incident with an eagle on the way from Alice, meaning that if it rained, we would have water coming straight in through the roof.

This was on Sunday, over the June long weekend, so nothing was open.

Can't thank Jodie and Graham enough for their help.

After assessing the problem, Graham disappeared into his workshop, returning with a piece of wood which he had cut to size, and along with a role of gaffer tape, patched up the hole, which got us all the way back to Adelaide with no issues.

We booked a powered site for the night which had plenty of room for our motorhome, and i found the facilities to be excellent.

Shower and toilets were clean, and although we didn't use it, the camp kitchen also looked well maintained with everything you would need.

Highly recommend and will certainly return next time we are passing through.

A beautiful retreat amongst the desert and opal mines. Very clean and family friendly facilities. A beach style pool for the littlies to splash and the big kids to cool off! $1 for 40l of water lasted our family of 5, 2 nights no worries with the free shower facilities and even a bath for the toddler! We will definitely stay again!

What an amazing couple that run this park! We got stuck here for 10 days after picking up bad fuel and having to have our engine replaced in town. The management happily helped us by driving us to get groceries, lending cooking utensils and just allowing us and our 2 children (4 and 2) to make ourselves at home. This was all days before Christmas!

The pool was amazing and always beautifully cleaned, the camp kitchen had a lounge area so we could just get away from our van when needed.

Thank you to Jodie and Graham for their hospitality and generosity. Our little family will never forget how you helped us.
