Absolutely on point. Service is exceptional. The waiter remembered us from months prior and is very attentive. Chef doesn’t miss anything- the flavours have depth and not only is the menu nutritional, healthy but taste is divine.
In particular, the kids menu is dietician approved - unlike most other restraints that don’t provide healthy meals for kids- the meals taste great so the kids don’t know the difference.

We eat out ALOT, and I have to say, Bistro Dalby is a favourite. You will pay a reasonable amount but leave full & satisfied- and just as important, have consistency each time you come. Hats off for the experience.

Had a lovely dinner there last night with my husband and 2 kids. Giorgio took great care of us throughout the service & even though it was busy we weren't rushed so we really enjoyed our dinner. Kids were given colouring in to do which was amazing. The portions are large which was a nice surprise. I enjoyed the gnocci, and a lovely NZ pinot gris. Husband had the barramundi and Italian beer. Kids enjoyed the spaghetti bolognaise and fish & vegetables which chef amended to include rice instead of salad so really appreciate their flexibility keeping the little ones happy. Overall lovely experience and definitely recommend!

I was greeted by Giorgio (the restaurant manager) & was with a friendly welcome. I ordered the Prawn Spaghetti dish though requested to have a Napoli sauce instead of the butter lemon sauce & wow what a tasty generous size dish with plenty of prawns & flavour! I finished off my meal with an affagato which was a perfect way to end. Reasonable pricing & sensational service. I’ll be back!🥂😋 😊

We ate 3 meals at Bistro Dalby during our stay. Don’t let the word ‘Bistro’ undersell the experience, the 2 dinners were 5 star meals.

A special thanks to the Hospitality Manager ‘Kha’, for his exceptional service and attention to detail, and to his colleague ‘Jake’ who convinced me to order Chef ‘Tish’s’ Zucchini, Carrot and Potato Chowder’. Without question it is the best soup I have had anywhere in the world. A dining experience is not complete without ordering the ‘garlic cheesy bread’, and of course Kha’s famous Singapore Sling’.

We had an excellent dinner at Bistro Dalby. The staff couldn't have been friendlier, attentive or more accommodating. The food was excellent and generous portion sizes. My daughter loved her pasta and devoured it. My husband said his fish was excellent. My pumpkin ravioli and vegetarian pizza were both excellent. Dessert was a deconstructed mango cheesecake which we all shared and loved.

My wife and I ate one of the best meals we have ever eaten here last night. We eat out every Thursday night and I in particular am very hard to please. The taste, texture, presentation and combinations of flavours were close to perfect. The staff were really lovely too. They apologised for the slow service several times, but we really didn’t think it was slow. We’ll definitely be returning.

Dined here on a Sunday night with my wife and Mum visiting from QLD. Service was excellent, very friendly and professional. We had 2 x barramundi fish specials and a pumpkin ravioli. Also finished with array of sorbet and deconstructed mango cheesecake for dessert. All food was very tasty and beautifully presented. Highly recommend Bistro Dalby.

Food has good value for the money if you have a 50% off voucher. If we would have payed more I would not have given 4 stars.

We had the meatlover pizza and the Baramundi.

Food was delicious! Very fresh and full of flavour. Staff were very friendly, polite and more than helpful with menu recommendations. Would definitely come again.

Always enjoy dining here. Staff are friendly and accommodating. Good food with a menu that changes with the seasons. Usually a quiet atmosphere so easy to chat and catch up with friends, family etc

I was here for a breakfast buffet and had an overall positive experience. I really liked their hash browns and the eggs that are made to order. The coffee had a good froth but it was too acidic. Overall, the food was decent for the price, but they have a small range.

Overall, an enjoyable meal.
I had The Veal Scollopini which was lovely, except the meat was a bit grisly & tough.
The rest of the dish was very flavoursome though, & a good portion. The chips were also very tasty. I had Scollops as a starter, which were nice, but I would've preferred them more seared.
The service was ok, but the waiter didn't come & ask us how our meals were, & didn't clear the table before bringing my friend's Birthday Cake out.
The restaurant was very quiet, but had very comfortable chairs. The wine list was very expensive so we had a beer.
My friend had The Barramundi & said it was good.

Three stars is being kind!

I went here as it was pouring down outside, the food was ok if not border line bad. Spaghetti was bland and almost over cooked, sauce was nice at first but then got bland quickly.

Service was ok, towards the end got really bad. We were literally waving our arms in the air to get service while dirty plates sat on the table for 30 minutes after we had finished. Restaurant only had 8 people in it with three staff members.

Would not recommend unless you can’t leave the hotel.

Poor quality food, extremely long wait, over priced, very small proportions. Only reason i am giving 2 stars the actual novotel manager was extremely nice. Not the resturant manager.
