The Humble thai restaurant

Really nice Thai food. Generous on the meat portions, flavours great, good service in store. Open late which was nice, since there doesn't seem to be a lot of other options. But glad we came here

MUST GET- chili basil roasted Duck and sweet chilli basil chicken. Couldn’t stop nibbling on all of them, portions were great too. We also ordered green curry which was amazing. The duck blew my mind away though. Amazing chewy flavour and texture the gravy which the duck came in was good as well.

MUST GET- Royal Siam curry beef, pineapple fried rice, roast duck curry. Couldn’t stop nibbling on all of them, portions were great too. My mates loved the green curry but I wasn’t too big a fan (too coconut-y in flavor). Was agreed the pad Thai wasn’t the best- too sweet & starchy. Overall we paid $26 each between 5 for 5 dishes + medium coconut rice. Thai milk tea was yummy but $7.50 each.

Yummy Thai food in the heart of CBD. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. They can prepare most of the items on the menu vegan. The drinks were amazing too.

Had a lovely lunch here during the new year - Decent food, good vibes.

Fabulous little discovery for us. Exceptional customer service. The restaurant itself is small and the tables are quite close together but it was fine. The food was really amazing and came out quickly despite how busy they were.

We love trying Thai restaurants and this is by far one of the best we have been to. Very authentic tasting food and so delicious. The customer service was good except at times they would miss seeing us or forget to bring us something as it was a bit busy. The atmosphere was good but the space is a little tight, it’s a small place. Despite these it is definitely worth trying. I will be coming back for sure. Just one thing I wasn’t happy with is all the surcharges on top of everything.

This place was bustling and you know that’s an indication that they are probably good. We went and was not disappointed. We tried their Panang curry and pad see ew. The Panang curry was truly amazing! It was not thick or creamy and had the most insane flavours. The pad see ew was also so delicious! Not overly oily, and not too sweet either. Would 100% come here anyday.

Went here at 2.30 on Sunday as it was open and seats were available. Having lived in Thailand 🇹🇭 Thai food needs to be very authentic for me to even rate it This humble place served up 3 great plates of food. Tasty and very Thai. Was great to get Som Tum which went well with the pork and Grandma's chicken wings .

Amazing. Authentic flavours with a good degree of char and smokiness. We loved both the vegetarian pad keep Mao and the vegetarian pad see eiw. Would definitely come back for these dishes, lots of fresh vegetables. The butterfly pea tea was a little weak, but the star of the show was the mango (butterfly pea) sticky rice with mango gelato and cream. Highly recommend eating at the humble Thai restaurant.

A fantastic Thai restaurant in Newcastle. The decor was warm and humble. The service was superb. The food was well presented and tasted divine. This restaurant is such a lovely place and we would come back again when we're in Newcastle.

Definitely 5 stars for such delicious food! A little improvement will be the service. It will take sometimes for the food to arrive. But it deserves to wait! So nice, will come again!

There was a hickup on serving, our mains were delayed and served seperately, but it was still fine. You deserve the 5star anyhow 🤘❤

The name may be Humble, but the food is superior. I've been looking for Thai food in Ncle that has that classic hot from the wok fresh and aromatic flavour. Finally found it at The Humble. We'll be back.

Authentic thai cuisine. This restaurant is located near to Nobby's beach. Clean and well maintained. Staff are welcoming. Food is yummy, served quickly and hot. Had a wonderful time with friends. Will visit again when I am in Newcastle.

One of the best Thai places I've been in Newcastle. Unique flavours that knows how to pack a punch, and let's also not forget about the Mocktail menu, heaps more impressive than the cocktail list. Would definitely visit again.

Absolutely delish! Gorgeous food and an ok seating arrangement with the little space they have. We sat in one of the corner spots and our waitress had to lean over the middle rail to serve us she did a wonderful job though. I had the Pad Kee Mao which was really something. Just the right amount of spice and delicious flavour.

First time visit to the Humble Thai and really impressed with the food. Really enjoyed the meals and cocktails. Will be back again. Such a nice little place in the heart of Newcastle, don't miss the oppertunity to try for yourself
