Brilliant company to work for.

I have had the experience of 17 years working in different companies in various industries both overseas and in Australia and have never seen a better work atmosphere than in Oztent.

Teamwork is the main positive value of employees in Oztent and also employee's trials and hard work are being seen by the owner of the company which is absolutely encouraging.

In my point of view and based on my work experience, those who couldn't stay with Oztent for any reason, will definitely face problem in any other companies they may work for. All in all not everyone deserves working in a healthy drama-free environment.

The only negative point about this company is the rigidity in case of work from home and leave time(hardly people can work from home and getting leave time for more than 3 weeks would be a problem due to small business operational strategy.)

Great bunch of people to work with, went beyond their work to gelp me with my product. Great, properly made products to.Thank you Oztent team.

Nice people to serve

I orded sides for my hex screen house from outback equipment and they sent me the wrong wall sides. After outback equipment trying to charge me to send back the product that they didn't describe properly at my expense and they clearly got wrong Tabitha at Oztent went above and beyond to organise new side walls as we had a trip we were leaving for. Thanks Tabitha and the team at Oztent.

Amazing tents just rubbish they have no spare parts available on their website if the tent frame breaks.

Expensive products that do not last the test of time. Have used my oz tent only a few times and it is leaking from the seams which made for a very unpleasant camping trip. Not covered by warranty as it was purchased 4 years ago. I have another cheaper brand tent that has been going strong for 10 years. Don’t waste your money!

Extremely unhappy how I was treated as a customer. very poor customer service.
I was at the camping show couple of weekends ago, one of the rep from the company gave me a online coupon discount code since I have missed out the deal on that day (not my fault as they double sold 1 of the item). Went home straight away jump online and bought what I need on there site and pay for it. I was very happy until I was contacted 2 days after, and I was told they can’t honor the deal and offer me a refund instead. I politely refused the offer and told her the situation and stating that I need what I ordered not a refund, she promise me a call back. 1 week went by and no contact been made so I send them a follow up email and they send the refund the following day with out any communication in between.
Looks like someone at their end messed up and they not going to honor the discounted price which clearly is not my fault, as a consumer I reserve the right as we enter a sale contract when they took my money. This clearly demonstrate very poor practice from the company that has been around for quiet sometimes and as a consumer we don’t deserve to be treated like this.
I don’t normally write a long negative review for any company out there as I know most of us are not doing it easy however I am extremely unhappy about the outcome especially lack of communication and remedies for something clearly not my fault. I have been patient and gave them a very reasonable time to resolve the problem.
I will be pursuing this matter further

I invented and/or designed, developed and commercialised most of their new and Good Design Award as well as Red Dot award winning products and would have to agree with Nick's negative review 100%
I have a highly successful career of over 50 years working both in national and global senior management roles and expat roles based in China and the USA including working for two different companies for 10 1/2 years in a row and would have to say even though it's only a small family owned and operated company in the two years I was there I witnessed several people leave including the GM who had worked there for many years.
On a positive note, the owner who called me a "God send" and her children who referred to my work as "amazing" were a pleasure.

These say they are waterproof they are not.We had our one,it rained and all of the water came inside soaked every thing we had camper carpet on the ground flooring of it.And it was soaked thru.We had to get the camper carpet cleaned and dried out as it started to smell badly. We were running to cover it with our big tarp to keep us dry from the pouring rain.What an expensive joke it was We have .No where to live only in a tent style and you get some thing that doesn't work that you pay mega $$$$ for.Go buy else where with some thing genuine that does work and that keeps you fully dry and safe. DISSAPOINTED IN THIS PRODUCT! FIX IT OR TAKE IT OFF THE MARKET FOR SALE.
ALSO ZIPPERS ARE IN WRONG.A SNAKE COULD GET IN THE BOTTOM WHERE THE ZIPPERS MEET AT THE GROUND LEVEL BAD DESIGN!NOT SAFE AT ALL!

Awful company to work for. Anyone looking to find work. Look elsewhere.
