Food and service were fantastic, especially the rolls. Price is on the higher side but matched the quality. The only thing was the extra $2 charge for GF options which adds up, and a sneaky Saturday surcharge

My favourite Japanese in Brisbane. Great variety in their menu, fresh and delicious food, and reasonable enough pricing. Both takeaway and eating in experiences have been positive.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Hikari Teneriffe, and I have to say that it was one of the best dining experiences I've had in a while. One of the most impressive aspects of the restaurant was how dog-friendly they were - I was able to bring my furry friend along, and the staff were more than happy to offer him a bowl of water. It was a small gesture, but it really meant a lot to me as a pet owner.

The staff were incredibly attentive throughout the entire meal, making sure that my dog and I were comfortable and had everything we needed. They were also very friendly and welcoming, which made the overall experience even more enjoyable.

And let's not forget about the food - it was simply outstanding. Every dish that I tried was absolutely delicious, and I would give the food quality a solid 10/10 rating. It's clear that the chefs at Hikari Teneriffe take great pride in their work, and it definitely shows in the final product.

Overall, I had a fantastic experience at Hikari Teneriffe, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great restaurant with a welcoming atmosphere, attentive staff, and outstanding food. Thank you to the staff at Hikari Teneriffe for making my meal such a memorable one!

Sooo good! I tried the Yum Yum Roll and honestly one of the most delicious dishes I’ve tried in my life. Everything was awesome!

I had a wonderful dinner here with my friends. All the food was fresh and superlative. The staff’s kind service and wonderful smile gave me impressive memories. Also, the place was along the river, so I could take a light walk after dinner. If I have a special day, I want to have another wonderful experience here.

Original casual and cozy Japanese restaurant atmosphere. Decent Japanese Food, good and quick service. Every dishes met expectations, slightly dislike the miso soup which was, to my taste, way too salty. Did not ruin our night at all. Happy to come back though.

Every dish tasted fresh and came out well presented! The sushis we ordered are THE perfect sized sushi - great ratio with protein:rice! The staff are welcoming and very nice!

Would recommend for a group of friends or even date night! 🤩

Beautiful atmosphere and the food is simply amazing! Great customer service too, always smiling and accomodating to customer’s needs. Music needs a bit of work though. Overall fantastic place! We’ll be back!

This is place by far my favourite Japanese restaurant in Brisbane. Their cold plates are so fresh. Their hot plates are so delicious. I love their Beef ribs and wagyu katsu that was on special last week. Great relaxing ambience and friendly customer service. I would definitely visit here again.

Food was fresh and was made well! I was surprised that the sushi roll was huge and so delicious. Enjoyed the casual and chill atmosphere. It’s very laidback. The servers were very accommodating and quick. I really enjoyed the dishes that we ordered apart from the wagyu karubi. It had too much soy sauce on it that it was slightly overpowering but overall we were happy with the dining experience! Definitely one of the good japanese restaurants here in brissy

Highly recommend this Japanese Izakaya. Fabulous part of town, exceptional service and outstanding food, sake and drinks. Everything was perfect and for late weekend lunch it was easy to park on street.

We got a chance to visit Hikari on a Friday evening. We made a reservation online prior to our arrival just in case they were busy. We were really glad that we did so as it got busy soon after our arrival.

The service and vibe at Hikari were exceptional. The staff were friendly and willing to engage in conversation about the the menu. The food was definitely the highlight. We enjoyed each dish we ordered, and the highlight of the evening was the Wagyu Karubi. The beef was really good, and I love the combination of the cabbage salad with the sweet soy sauce. We'll definitely return to try the sashimi and sushi menu.

All menus were so wonderful and tasty!! I would visit here of course more than 100 times! Staffs, foods, atmosphere all things so beautiful 🤗

We booked for 8.30pm and they missed out reservation. We waited for 20 minutes without being updated. Other than the wait, the food was simply amazing! Being pregnant, I thought my options would be limited but we ordered about half of the entire menu, my favourites were the wagyu short ribs, ssam pork, seaweed salad, teriyaki chicken, truffle baos, and the lotus chips with truffle mayonnaise. We will be back again!

Love a good Japanese restaurant, and this one didn't disappoint! Amazing meal. Good vegan and vegetarian options available and nice cold Premium Malts Lager 👌

Went here for a date night~ the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. The service was fantastic and the food was amazing. Everything we ate was so fresh and the quality was exceptional. We will definitely be back!

Very friendly, welcoming staff and a cozy environment with lots of options on the menu. On this occasion we tried: Salmon and scallop roll, Kingfish jalapeno,
Nasu dengaku Aburi salmon roll and the Japanese Calamari. The flavours were great and each of the dishes we'd rate 8.5-9/10 🤤
