Bing’s Nomiya

Such an amazing experience. Food is so beautifully presented and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND the Wagyu beef 8 piece sushi roll..... Lost for words at how delicious that was

This restaurnt has a massive sushi train going through the whole restaurant, i ordered meso soup it was supper salty, not fresh. I also ordered salmon sashimi it was a bit fishy, onordered boiled bumpling they where served with lots of water in the dish it made it over cooked. The high light was the rainbow roll. The rise was fresh and hot and the prawn was also hot. The best i had it melted in your mouth.

The staff where cleaning up alot of noise coming from the kitchen beach there throwing sushi plats in washer/drying area.

Always our go to place when we visit Mackay. For us it’s the okonomiyaki pancakes. Washed down with a Japanese plum wine. Love the new renovations and bullet trains severs.

I have been meaning to try this place when I come to Mackay for work. So glad I did as the food was amazing.
Had the mixed 10 Nigiri and the yakatori both where yummy. The Seaford was fresh and they surprised me with some Unagi (eel) which is not on the menu.
The owner was great even shouted me one of his Japanese beers. Beautifully layer out restaurant you would think your in Melbourne or Sydney. Highly recommend it and will be back 100%

Wow, definitely a must try in Mackay! We were just visiting for the weekend and didn't know where to eat for dinner one night so we decided to try Bing's Nomiya. We walked in off the street on a busy night and luckily there was 1 free table available for us. The menu is huge and we couldn't decide what to get because it all looked so good! My husband and I decided to share multiple small meals, which were absolutely delicious and filled us up quite nicely. We tried their house made Sake and it was one of the nicest alcoholic beverages I've ever had. The way it was served felt very authentic also. Staff were also friendly and welcoming. Would definitely try again next time I'm in Mackay! 😋😋😋

Absolutely divine. We were quite late getting there, as the movie went way over what we had thought, and we were the last to leave. The food was delicious, and the staff were amazing, they cranked up the music, and danced their way through their clean up, laughing and happy. Can't wait to go back!

Our table grabbed items off it while we waited for our main meals.

Excellent Japanese restaurant and take away. I’ve only been here 2 times and it’s been busy and buzzing both times! I met Bing and he’s proud of what he’s got in Bing’s Nomiya! Highly recommend if you want a good meal and authentic taste.

Edit - brought my wife here for dinner in this visit to Mackay - thoroughly enjoyed the service and food. Quote from my wife “did not expect so much yummy food - and never seen that much tofu being served!” Loved it!

We were looking at the menu on the window deciding whether to dine in or takeaway when the manager or owner (I wish I took notice of his name) came over and welcomed us in and quickly took us to a seat. He was amazing, and despite the restaurant being packed didn’t hesitate to ensure that we were comfortable and the kids orders were taken immediately. He organised a special soup for them which they devoured, no easy feat with a picky toddler and 1 year old. We enjoyed some delicious tapas and then asked for some takeaway containers for our ramen as the kids were past their bed time. The ladies couldn’t be more wonderful and quickly grabbed us everything we needed to package our meals up and get us on our way. As we were paying the gentleman that had welcomed us at the start treated our daughter to some complimentary panda biscuits topping off what was a fantastic night for us all. We enjoyed our ramen in peace and quiet once the kids were asleep and it was absolutely delicious. We recognise that
Bings isn’t a restaurant that caters specifically to children, but we couldn’t fault our family evening out, we left feeling so relaxed which is rare when dining out with 2 young children. Thank you to the entire team for a wonderful night, we can’t wait to return next time we are in Mackay!

Found this lil gem 8 months ago and travel 2 & 1/2 hours to eat at Bings at least once a month. The fresh sushi/sashimi from the chef is always my go to, along with other japanese delights such as ramen or gyoza. It is carefully prepared and tastes as good as it looks 😍 the service is always warm and friendly and for an asian inspired drink, they have a great range of bubble teas (pick up from next door) or for an alcoholic beverage I recommend trying the plum wine.

Went in early for dinner, only tried the ramen which was very tasty and filling. Will be going again to sample more of the menu

Really lovely place to eat plenty of variety ( choices of meals) great service. Was surprised even the kids enjoyed the rice and the sushi.👌

This is the best ramen I have had in regional Australia. I had the black garlic tonkotsu and whilst not a very thick broth or particularly garlic-y, the flavour was strong and varied with springy noodles. Large portions and great service as well. I’ll be back!

Excellent Japanese restaurant! Only one in town. Having visited Japan 3x myself, I can attest that the food quality here is excellent, and the service is quick. Large groups can be catered for, but be prepared for slightly squishier seating than typical Western restaurants.

The sashimi was sensational! It was the first time for me to eat edamame beans wrapped and it was delicious. I really enjoyed everything and the atmosphere was very good too

Food was amazing been there twice and the people have been amazing

First time to Bing’s and will certainly be going back. Service was quick and the food was absolutely lovely.
