The Head chef Jarrod, took additional care in personally making sure my dietary requirements were met. Mel who served me, was lovely and very friendly. I can not rate this establishment more highly! The atmosphere, and all the staff were very welcoming and friendly, including the new bar staff

Impeccable service soon as you entered the front doors, and the food on top of that was amazing. Couldn’t thank the staff more for such a great night thanks to their attentiveness. Definitely will be back again 😄

My Dad and I visited a couple of weeks ago and we were absolutely blown away with the service and food. The food came out within 15 minutes and was hot and fresh. The staff were all lovely and very accommodating. We will definitely return. There is a reason why the tables were booked out but we could still order and sit outside which was just as amazing.

Had a great dining experience, friendly staff and such lovely atmosphere and ambience. Korean fried chicken was the best I’ve had in Mackay, crispy and tasty… was not expecting the battered & boneless version but nevertheless it was delicious. Added on salad which was fresh and tasty with the dressing. The only disappointment I had was that they sold out of the Mount Pleasant share board which I was looking forward to try. Definitely recommend this place :)

Really want to say thankyou to Jess who made our experience fantastic, in the pokies/ sports bar really was amazing she has gone out of her way with her incredible customer service.
She deserves a promotion honestly. Thanks Jess again we will be back!

Team here are always great... don't even need to ask what I have to drink. Great to see the calamari back to what it used to be.

Out of town visitor. Very welcoming staff. Food was delicious. Crumb on schnitzel tasted like home made, not like the usual coating from other places, including my local H of S. Will definitely be back for a meal, next visit.

We are travelling Aus, from VIC and based at Finch Hatton - we found this place on a trip into Mackay, now we come everytime we come into town!
Cannot fault the food, always cooked properly and always hot and tasty!
We have 2 children so the playground and entertainment is the best!
Last of all....the staff are AMAZING! Always friendly, accomodating, Especially Jaz, she took those extra few minutes to listen to the kids about what they wanted on their icecreams and ensured they had their activity bags and was just so friendly. Thanks guys for a wonderful experience!

Great service, GREAT FOOD! Ladies helped explain the new pay method. Loved their was a good choice of “Specials” !! Was my partners first time to Mackay and asked what’s a good tavern, and I said Mount Pleasant! He wasn’t disappointed. The welcome we got was very lovely especially when I said I just proposed to my man! 🏳‍🌈 LGBTIQ friendly as well! :)

For a pub meal, it was above what I expected! Fast and fresh. They even have a few unique things like the Korean fried chicken and arancini in the $30 platter! The Veges in the mains could be better tho, like I was really missing some roasted pumpkin.... But all in all, I was satisfied and will come again :) (and the digital ordering/payment system was very cool)

We brought a group of seniors from the bluecare wellness centre to the Tavern , the service and food was second to none, there were 20 meals ordered and they all came out together hot and fresh .we as a group thoroughly enjoyed and recommend coming

Great meals great service.

Having tired previously to go here for dinner decided to book a table. I was not disappointed. Great customer service as soon as we walked in. When I ordered my food I think the lady was new but she was so polite, bubbly and nice double checked my order. The bartender was also great. Will definitely be back.

Steak cooked perfectly to order good portion size, will be my dinner spot when in the area. Great atmosphere. Staff very polite and helpful
