Family run, friendly venue with good local vibe. Great craft beers on tap and LIVE MUSIC on Sunday after 12 midday.

The small but well-curated range of independently-owned craft beers are reason enough to visit Herbert’s. I had a pretty bloody good grilled chicken burger as well. Dino and staff were very welcoming and friendly.

Always great to come here. Always different, good quality craft beers on tap. So everyone’s beer taste is accounted for. Great selection of foods. Excellent selection of whisky, for that night cap on the way home.
Such a friendly atmosphere. Staff and owners just want to be your friend.

We have been here twice and will return regularly from now on. This little gem is the best kept secret in Canberra - Amazing food, drinks and the owner and staff are awesome and rate among the very best we have encountered anywhere. We cannot recommend Herbert’s strongly enough, it is a delight to visit and simply sit and unwind.

We’ve had a mixture of different dishes and they were all fantastic. We loved the local wines and the beers are constantly updated, staff are extremely friendly and are always happy help. Will always come back!

We're lucky to live near by. Every meal I've had here has been perfect. The menu periodically changes, so there's always a reason to pay a visit. Same goes for the tap beers. The staff are friendly, I always feel so welcomed. The food comes out fast too. Some sound proofing would help on Friday night, when the rowdy people visit 😆. Seriously this is my only complaint.

A beautiful little 'hole in the wall' pub with great food and craft beers that are constantly changing. Starting with a tasting paddle of beers is a must!

Had a great lunch, highly recommend the pie, great atmosphere and personal service. Not a huge Venue but that just makes it better. No need to travel to Manuka for a great meal and Venue.

Absolutely wonderful. The staff are brilliant and really looked after us.

I had the special pot pie of the day and it was magic. I had to compliment the chef and she came out to chat with us.

Overall great experience, we will be back.

My daughter celebrated her 40th birthday on the 4 Nov 2003 at Herbert's. Deano the owner of the Pub provided her with the best service for the night. The food were platters of different meats and vegetables with a variety of flavoursome sauces and spices as well as being in abundance. His staff were happy, friendly and hard-working throughout the night which added to the pleasing outcome for the party. My daughter was able to decorate the pub and hire a small 2 person band to dance to. The Pub is small but there was plenty of room for all and plenty of space to dance easily. Deano was so oblighing all night and nothing was too much trouble. Thank you Deano. I have also had dinner at Herberts Evatt on several occasions and the food and atmosphere have always been the best. I would recommend Herbert's for any occasion such as a meal and drink or a special celebration.

Best pub feed I’ve had in a long time! Service was super friendly and very helpful. Beer on tap was delicious. The schnitzel, chips and salad, was up there for the best I’ve ever had… and even better, it was gluten free (much to my wife’s pleasure). We both loved it and have plans to go back soon and take friends with us! Highly recommend.

Great food, pleasant atmosphere, fantastic people.

We have been going to Herbert's at least on a weekly if not more frequent basis for over a year, starting when I was pregnant. They had a great selection of non alcoholic beverages and then after baby was born, a comprehensive selection of Canberra wines and a constantly rotating range of 6 beers on tap. The food and bar snacks are consistently delicious and inventive. Best of all, the staff! Dino and Kristin are lovely hard working people and their regular customers demonstrate they are doing everything right.

This was my first time at Herbert's, but it will not be the last. Delicious food, great atmosphere and some of the friendliest staff I've ever encountered. So pleased that we live close by to this little gem.
