I had dinner here a few nights ago with a large group of people , some of whom had dietary requirements (some vegetarian, some vegan and some gluten free). The staff could not have been more accommodating, the food was incredible and there were many amazing vegan, vegetarian and gluten free options. Highly recommended.

Wow - what a great experience! On the first weekend when COVID restrictions were lifted no more mask requirements and social distancing, the restaurant was a little empty. But that allowed us to get the delicious food delivered to our table with 5 star fantastic service. If you love Indian food, don't hesitate. Get along to Indian Accent and be taken on a trip to India, within our incredible Canberra city. Highly recommended.

We went into this place tired, hot and hungry on a hot December evening after walking around all day doing the tourist thing. It was well air-conditioned and the service was prompt and professional. The food was delicious, the drinks cold, and all were reasonably priced. My wife said this place "restored her sanity", and I would recommend it to anyone wanting a good authentic Indian meal in a comfortable and relaxed environment.

Delightful food, great service in a warm and inviting setting. From the moment we arrived we were looked after by a lovely Indian gentleman. We had booked for six rather than the eight that arrived! And nothing was too much trouble as they quickly rearranged. We left the food choices to our host and what a wonderful journey he took us on. Delicious samosas and crispy entres, piping hot fresh nans and deliciously spiced vegetarian, fish and meat dishes. All washed down by decent wines and beers. We will return.

Excellent option for catering and great food
I contacted Chef Venkatesh and he has been very helpful in organising a great lunch for a group of 25. His recommendations on portion was spot on and everyone thought the food was great.
It is the best Indian food I had in Australia.
Highly recommend it, for small or large groups!

Great food and service. Very helpful with adapting food for a nut allergy. Also very accommodating to our need to eat in time to go to a show. Very happy with our first time experience, and will definitely be going back

We've eaten at the restaurant and also eaten it take away. In both instances it was the best Indian food we have ever eaten, and it is easily the best take away choice in Canberra.
The restaurant itself is well laid out, beautifully lit and creates a warm and inviting atmosphere. The staff on every one of our multiple visits were impeccably presented, courteous, competent and friendly.
The food was delivered in a timely fashion and we never felt that we waited an unreasonable amount of time to get our order. Every dish arrived hot and looked amazing.
Taste wise, I've never had better spiced food in my life. The dishes respond to a western scale of 'spiciness' of hot, medium and mild and is always accurate so you have a good idea of what you are about to receive. All the dishes we've eaten have been spectacular but the one dish that stands out is the Kadhai Lamb, which arrives sizzling and you will hear and smell it long before you see it.
TL:DR Great Indian food, a great atmosphere and wonderful staff. Highly recommend it.

One of the best places to eat Indian food in Canberra. The owner not only understands Indian cuisine but also thoroughly appreciates it. This restaurant has been one of my go to places for a night out for a while now, and I have come to really appreciate it for it’s authenticity as well as it’s comestible diversity.

We just held our daughter's wedding reception at the resturant for around 50 guests and we could not have asked for better service. They let us decorate the tables and set up the other room as a dance floor nothing was an issue. The food was plentiful and flavoursome. The staff was friendly and helpfully very accommodating. I would recommend this restaurant for any functions you need. Thank you Copper Chimney for making the night a success.

Hands down one of the best curries I've ever had (and I'm English and have had a lot of curries in my life!). The owner was really accommodating (we didn't have a reservation and he found a space for us) and the staff were really friendly. But ultimately, the food was incredible - can't recommend enough.

Amazing service, the staff seemed to guess what we wanted before we even needed it! Just phenomenal. The food was so good that I've been thinking about it for weeks now. I can't wait to go back. Truly a treat, and a real gem in the city. I can't recommend it highly enough.

The ambience 👏 it is so calm and cozy… and clean! The customer service is excellent. They’re so personal, they check on you time to time. You feel so welcomed! The paneer was very fresh. The presentation was excellent. The food was good too! Great experience!

I had a delightful dinner here and there were multiple factors but I feel like this restaurant deserves at least some credit.
It's a nice setup, for one. Tables a bit big for my liking but plenty of space and it's easy to have a conversation, it didn't feel crowded or too noisy at all.
I also appreciated the service. Just the one gentleman seemed to be serving all the tables and he was just right: helpful but not too intense. We were able to take things at a nice pace.
We had the Palak paneer and bagara baingan. They were good portion sizes and plenty for two people.
Overall a great time and I intend to return.

Had a great dinner, would definitely go back .The service was great. Very attentive and friendly. My friend and I had decided to share butter chicken and I also got the chicken 65 which was mind blowing. It was nice they didn't have any problem with us splitting the entree. (Some places do.) The butter chicken was amazing! Would definately go back for the butter chicken!
The atmosphere and decor are welcoming, clean and well maintained.

This is the best indian cuisine I have ever tasted. My wife had the vegetarian Dahl and I had the chicken chettinad and we were extremely happy the taste was sensational.
I would highly recommend this restaurant if your in Canberra to visit.

There's a few restaurants I love, but this one is without a doubt the one I go to most. The bloke who runs it is lovely and kind, the staff are really friendly and the food is consistently amazing. The other half says this would be her death row meal. We always feel like eating here.

A lovely restaurant in cbd. Beautiful ambience. Food was good quality and delicious. Talli macchhi and chicken tikka were yum. The butter chicken and kadhai paneer were finger licking good. Authentic indian style. As we requested it to be not too sweet. Most of all, a warm welcome by Mr Venkateshwer and his hospitality skills makes you feel special.

We booked for a group of 10, ended up with 13, but nothing was too much trouble for our host. Our group was very impressed by the restaurant's hospitality, flexibility, and high standard of food. Highly recommended.

$9.50 lunch special with one/two curry of my choice. I chose butter chicken and black lentils to go with my rice. For $11.50 you can also get a nann. I love both dishes. The lentils were really creamy and soft and the butter chicken was well seasoned and had a spice kick :)
