A favourite and very well priced Vietnamese restaurant. The beef pho is a dark broth and absolutely delicious. My wife loves the grilled pork and spring roll vermicelli salad bowl. The kids enjoy the chicken satay sticks. Crispy won tons are another go to snack! Dan and Cam have always been wonderful hosts and we will continue to recommend them to family and friends. A little out of the way, but well worth the effort!

A literal hidden gem in Mt Druitt.

This restaurant is a little out of the way and can easily be missed if you’re not actively searching for it.

Found this restaurant randomly when it showed up on Uber Eats. Have since ordered via Uber Eats, dined in and have ordered takeaway for pickup.

Service has been great each time; the staff are very polite and friendly. You’re happily greeted as soon as you walk in.

It’s a small family restaurant with the owners doing the cooking and serving customers. Daniel, one of the owners has provided great service the times I’ve visited the store.

If you’re dining in, complimentary cold water and hot tea is served and they offer a bunch of different chilli sauces, which you may need to ask for (I think they’re not kept on the table because of the coronavirus pandemic, which is a good thing).

I frequently eat out in Cabramatta, Canley Vale/Heights, Vietnamese restaurant hotspots because there aren’t many Vietnamese restaurants out far west (Penrith/Blacktown and “especially” Mt Druitt) that I would consider frequenting - the closest might be in Parramatta.

Hao My Vi is actually pretty decent.

My favourite dish they serve - Crispy Skin Chicken with Dry Egg Noodles is really good and I think is on par, if not slightly better than Tan Viet Noodle House in Cabramatta, a restaurant known specifically for that dish.

I’ve ordered it a couple times, and will probably be my go-to-dish at this restaurant.

Ask them to serve the accompanying soup separately/on the side.

The beef pho is good however they don’t offer a Special Beef Pho with beef tripe and tendons and offal but I suppose it’s because of the area the restaurant is located in and may be more of an Asian area personal preference.

My personal favourite is still Pho Tau Bay in Cabramatta, but the pho here is still decent, especially for the area. I would order it again if I’m craving for pho.

The Vietnamese chicken curry is also pretty good and so are their pork rolls and grilled pork rolls.

Their Vermicelli bowls are very good, on par with any decent Vietnamese restaurant in Cabramatta/Canley Vale.

Their deep fried meat spring roll is very good, it’s Vietnamese style and similar to ones served in restaurants in Cabramatta. They are kinda small though and you only get 4 pieces for $8; increasing the size of the pieces or adding a couple more pieces would make it an must buy each time I visit.

Their menu is overall small compared to other Vietnamese restaurants but I believe the restaurant just recently opened so the menu has room to grow.

One thing that I absolutely love is that they accept AMERICAN EXPRESS cards. This is extremely rare for a small restaurant in this area. Some restaurants down the street don’t even accept eftpos, like JJ’s Chinese Food Bar for example, a popular local spot.

So yes, Hao My Vi happily accepts Eftpos/Visa/MasterCard and AMEX. There’s no extra fee or surcharge.

I rarely carry cash so this definitely influences my decision whether to frequent a restaurant. With cash only restaurants I have to pre-plan going to a ATM to withdraw money specifically for that place which is a little inconvenient.

A huge thumbs up for accepting American Express.

There’s decent street parking outside the restaurant, just look out for their blue door and a LED/Neon sign. There’s a couple concrete pillars blocking the view of the restaurant so keep driving past until you see the door and sign.

I’ll definitely visit this restaurant again to eat in/takeaway.

Still have yet to try their pork chops/crispy skin chicken with tomato rice + wonton noodles.

One of the BEST Vietnamese restaurants in Western Sydney!

This little gem has amazing food, great service and good prices. If you like Vietnamese Pho then you have to try this place. The stock is so rich and full of flavour (they say it is slow cooked for nearly 3 days!). The herbs are fresh and adds an amazing contrast that cuts through the richness of the broth. Together they make the perfect combination.

The lemongrass pork chop and the lemongrass chicken is equally amazing. It soaks up all that marinade and gives it that classic mouthwatering Vietnamese lemongrass flavour.

Highly recommend!

Tried out their crispy skin chicken with tomato rice - can't fault it. Generous serving and extremely tasty. Side salad was tasty as well 😋 I hate coriander but their soup was so good, I just avoided the coriander..
Will have to wait to try their roast pork banh mi as they ran out of rolls due to the timing of our order - next time! 🙂

My family and I were referred to this brand new Vietnamese restaurant. We were told it was very authentic food and we were certainly not disappointed. The entrees and the meals were all authentic southern Vietnamese dishes and really delicious. The owners were very friendly and helpfull. Give them a go if you want to try something a little different to the standard Chinese or Thai out west.

Very good value of money and big portion food. The hospitality is awesome with friendly owner! We ordered deep fried chicken wings, pork and spring roll salad and lemongrass chicken Pho. The soup tasted full of flavour and chicken wings are served hot with crispy skin! Must go:)

We regularly travel to Cabramatta and Canley Vale for Vietnamese Food most weeks but have been dying to have a good Vietnamese restaurant open up closer to home. We had dinner here with my family, including our daughter who is under 2. The staff could not have been more welcoming and accommodating, especially of our little one. Then there was the best part, the food itself. We all had different meals, Beef Pho, Vermicelli Salad, Crispy chicken etc and we were all really impressed - the stock in the Beef Pho is a great way to judge any Vietnamese restaurant and the version here is a real highlight. Great value, really generous serves and the staff made coming here a real pleasure. The food is as excellent and authentic as you'd find just about anywhere in Cabramatta or anywhere we ate in Vietnam itself. We're so pleased to have a food this good closer to home and we will definitely be making this our new local.

Amazing little spot for Vietnamese food. Always great, friendly, and quick service from the owners. They really care about your experience and go above and beyond to cater to you. Arguably the best vietnamese spot outside of cabra/canley.

What superlatives can I use to describe this newly established restaurant.

Tucked away in Mt. Druitt, a short walk from Mt. Druitt train station, Hao My Vi brings authentic and delicious Vietnamese cuisine to the area for all to enjoy.

Not many new places can compete with the ‘big boys’ of Pho restaurants, however, I can safely say that Hao My Vi rivals some of the more established places to produce one of the best Rare beef pho I have ever had in Sydney.

The hand made spring rolls and wontons are delicious and a great appetiser to start with.

Overall, Hao My Vi is a must try for everyone.
