Sunrise House

Spent 7 nights over Christmas, fantastic house, great features with plenty of space and spectacular views. Connie is a wonderful host who made us feel very welcome and even supplied some fresh produce for our arrival. We'll definitely be staying again.

Sunrise House is an impeccably presented, 5-star+ accommodation with an amazing view of the Frenchman Bay. When you settle into the classic leather couches and look out to the bay through the wall-to-floor glass panel, you may wish that this was your house and you didn't have to leave. Many top Albany sights are a few minutes down the road including the Gap, Salmon Hole, the Blowholes, and the Whaling Station. The Albany town center is quite close as well as other famous tourist attractions such as the Middleton Beach and the scenic Marine Drive. The most memorable was the beautiful sight of the numerous stars and the clearly visible shapes of constellations arrayed across the night sky. The depth of silence through the night will coax you into a most restful sleep and you will wake up with a wonderful sense of recovery and well-being in the morning. City living can't compare to this in any measure. I and my wife sincerely recommend that you book and stay at the Sunrise House before too long (just in case we are tempted to buy it and make it our own :)

Highly recommended accommodation, just facing the bay. Waking up to see the sunrise would have been an incredible experience, but unfortunately we were not lucky enough, as it was too cloudy in the morning. Next level hospitality by Connie, the owner.

Our family of 9 stayed in Sunrise House from June 24-28. We arrived to a very generous and yummy breakfast pack. The house was beautifully furnished and meticulously clean. It was more than enough room for our whole family. Connie is a great host and we felt very welcomed. The house has a beautiful verandah which overlooks the bay and a good sized yard that our kids could enjoy. We loved watching the sunrise over the bay during breakfast and even saw some dolphins one morning. It’s only 5 minutes away from shops in Albany in one direction and the Gap and blowholes in the other direction. If you’re looking for accommodations in Albany, you won’t be disappointed here! I stayed at Sunrise House for 2 weeks this past May/June and it exceeded all my expectations. By far the cleanest, tidiest holiday accommodations I've ever stayed at and easily up to the standard of many high end hotels, including the very comfortable bedding. The house is beautifully maintained and the location by the waterfront is fantastic. I will definitely be back!

Our stay at Sunrise house was above expectations. We received a warm welcome with lots of extra touches, including some delicious gourmet treats. The house is very well appointed. The kitchen included all the crockery, cutlery, glassware and cooking utensils we might need, including coffee machine, electric frypan and slow cooker. The kitchen is spacious and overlooks the dining room with views over the water. We were very cozy with a great wood fire and split systems. The furniture in the lounge was very comfortable with one area focusing on the water views and another to snuggle up with cushions and throws for a great night in watching your favourite show on the large flat screen. Our bed was so comfortable with plenty of pillows and quality linen and towels. The laundry has everything you might need for an extended stay. There’s a barbecue and outdoor setting and grassy area for family fun as well as garage. The house is ideal for an extended family group. I can highly recommend Sunrise house and can’t wait to come back with my family.

We had a fantastic stay at Sunrise House. Not only spectacular views back to town, but a well appointed home to suit all ages. We loved every bit of our stay.

Very good & comfortable place

When only the best will do

Sunrise House is an incredibly luxurious and comfortable accommodation with personal touches of the hosts every corner of the house. The master bedroom has a king-size bed and pillows that make you feel like you are floating in the clouds. The four bedrooms can accommodate up to nine people, so two families could stay together at a very reasonable cost. We are city folks and rarely hear the sound of silence even in the middle of the night, but here, you will. The calmness and peacefulness we felt in the Sunrise House and its surroundings is something we will treasure for a long time. The hospitality of the hosts is genuine and authentic. God bless them!
